Excellent site for a quiet rural stopover
Primitive grass and earth campsite
Liked Very warm and friendly welcome, generous pitches and beautiful countryside. The pitches are mostly flat and there is a large sheltered area to shade from the sun or shelter from the rain. There is a WC and shower that is basic but clean and plenty of hot and cold water. The host can also offer cold drinks and hot coffee on request. Internet signal is excellent. Highly recommend for a rural stopover or longer stay. Lots to see in the area, just 15 minutes from Bayeux.

Liked Lovely owners.
Well marked out, level hook-up pitches.
Great price.
While we were here the site had a great atmosphere - everyone was very friendly.
Disliked Water fill up tap not overly accessible. It does have toilet and shower, unlike many aires, but they are rather basic. No obvious grey water disposal but if we'd asked they might have let us dump it in a field.

Liked Tranquil spot for a one night stay.
Cider available from the farm at 2 euro, very good and supplied cold.
Would stay again for longer to visit the WW2
Cemeteries.
Not too far off the Autoroute for a stop over.
Very good price in a quiet rural location. A good selection of ciders.

Liked I loved the farm and space and a very friendly owner. We could buy excellent ciders and pommeau and eggs at very reasonable rates. There is a new room with a microwave and a bathroom though not completely ready. We were greeted warmly and everything was prepared. There is a lovely Abbaye Mondays nearby to visit and a pretty and historic Bayeux only a few miles away. You have the whole field to yourself and sit watching the sunset with a glass of pommeau.
Disliked Nothing to dislike there
