  • Quiet farm campsite deep in the Pembrokeshire countryside
  • Seaside towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot 20 minutes' drive
  • Simple campsite in a mown field; half a mile from a local pub
Find your feet in the Pembrokeshire countryside and get to grips with the local landscape at The Folly, a small-scale site set on a peaceful farm. Located in Martletwy, this roomy and scenic spot has plenty of space, excellent access to walks and nature trails, and basic facilities for guests looking to explore this very special part of the world. The main pitching area is set in a large mown field where facilities include a water standpipe and two fully furnished toilets. One shower is available on request a short distance away from the pitches next to the owners' house (please speak with them to arrange). If you don't mind roughing it, it's also possible to set up shop away from the main pitching field in a secluded place elsewhere on the farm (please speak to the owners for suggestions). The Folly is about half a mile from a local pub that serves drinks and meals throughout the week. The Wild Lakes Wales watersports centre is just next door, with facilities for wakeboarding as well as a climbing wall and inflatable aqua park; it also has fantastic dining tipi serving delicious street food – it's very poular so you're best to book in advance. Dogs are allowed here, but please remember that this is a farm so they'll need to be on leads.

Wildflower bell tent

Liked: If you’re looking for a location which is quiet and back to nature. Then this is the place for you!
Within driving distance of Tenby, Barafundle Bay and Castle Carew.
Within walking distance of wild Lakes activities and The Snooty Fox.
The host was very friendly and even came with feed for my children to give to the sheep.
The tent was surprisingly warm and the double bed was comfy. There was enough room for my children to sleep on their camp beds and still have room to walk around and play games.
Toilet facilities were clean and well kept.
It’s also a dog friendly site so we took our little dog along and he loved it as much as we did.
Would definitely recommend and return here ourselves.
