  • Small site in a peaceful spot 10 minutes' drive from Pembroke
  • Coast path, Stack Rocks and Green Bridge within easy walking distance
  • Campfire area and kitchen on site, plus meals available to order
A stay at Owl Barn Escapes will put you in pole position for exploring this part of Pembrokeshire. This small site is in a peaceful rural spot about 10 minutes’ drive from the town of Pembroke, and it's within easy walking distance of the Wales Coast Path. That means this lovely location is a particularly fine one for those who'd like to see some of the coast on foot – you'll be able to take in highlights such as Stack Rocks (a well-known birdwatching spot), the Green Bridge of Wales and Saint Govan's Chapel without even getting in the car. If you do have a car (or a little bit more time), you can also add into the mix some gorgeous beaches including Barafundle Bay, Freshwater West and Broad Haven South. For a change of activity, surfing, kayaking and fishing are all close by, and cycling is also a good way to get around; the site has two lovely Italian bikes for guests to hire if they'd like to pedal along the country lanes. Closer to home, you can also get a game of boules going on site. There are plenty more amenities on site as well, including a facilities caravan where you can cook, make cups of tea or coffee, store/refrigerate food and wash up. The site has picnic tables and a communal campfire area that makes a lovely spot for a cosy evening of stargazing. Don't fancy doing your own cooking? You can order breakfast on site (book the night before) and request simple evening meals such as pizzas or fish/chicken and chips. There are also a few pubs within a few miles’ drive and more places to eat or get takeaways in Pembroke.

Primitive grass tent campsite

Liked Everything….
Lovely warm, spacious shower block & warm water.
Owners lit the fire every night and campers all sat around it.
Tea/coffee making facilities and a sheltered seating area should it rain.
Star gazing was amazing.
Safe space if you have small children as the field is gated.
Only 15 minutes from Tenby.
A LOVELY FIND.

Primitive grass tent campsite

Liked The campsite was really lovely! The host Barry welcomed us on arrival and gave us a tour of the campsite too - a fire pit was done in the evening. Facilities were lovely and clean and well looked after.
