  • Small Pembrokeshire site five minutes' drive from Pembroke
  • Barafundle Bay and Tenby beaches within 20 minutes' drive
  • Behind an award-winning café with farm stand selling local produce
On the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is a good start – and having the medieval walled town of Pembroke five minutes’ drive away is an added bonus. But what’s likely to swing things firmly in favour of Gallows Camping is that this site is in the grounds of an award-winning café, putting you within incredibly easy reach of brunches, lunches and fabulous cakes – all made on site from local ingredients (including home-grown ones where possible). And that’s not all on the local food front – the site also has a farm stand where you can buy fresh local fruit and veg, free-range eggs, honey from the Gallows hives and firewood for your campfire. It’s all starting to add up to a rather tasty stay… and there are plenty of shops and supermarkets in Pembroke to provide anything else you need for your meals. So how are you going to make sure you’ve worked up an appetite for all these treats? Well, you shouldn’t struggle to find plenty of ways to fill your days around here, whether you’re planning to hit the area’s gorgeous beaches, take hikes on the Wales Coast Path or seek out family attractions like Manor Wildlife Park and Heatherton World of Activities. Back on site after your days out you’ll have access to simple facilities in the form of a washing-up area, toilets and showers (just please note that guests are asked to avoid the hours of 10am to 3pm for showers, as the bathroom facilities are used by café customers during this time).
