What customers say
Great value site with beautiful views & spacious pitches. Owner Linda is super friendly. Spotlessly clean facilities. Peaceful & family-friendly with a play area. Good base for exploring. Consider warmer wash-up/shower water & better toilet door closures.

Linda was a very friendly lady…
Powered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Linda was a very friendly lady , who told us all the information required . Toilets ,ladies ,family room and shower were kept very clean and tidy . There was a few grumbles about no toilet paper one night . Well I always have a packet of tissues with me to hand ,just in case . There was alot of people using the toilets , so that could not be helped . I remember the days ,you always had to take your own loo roll . Very relaxing break for us , and used it as a place to put our heads down. Clean toilets ,showers ,poor Linda was cleaning at midnight one night ,to ensure everything clean for next morning . I washed up once ,didn't bother me boiling a kettle or waiting to wash up. I could have a chat with other campers . Didn't use internet or WiFi as time out for just me and my partner .
Disliked Partner is not a fan of the male portaloo. I understand that the campsite was very busy due to bank holiday weekend .

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely grounds and pitches. Very family friendly site. Great kids play area (small swing and slide, football and badminton area). 2 horses on site which our children enjoyed seeing. Welcoming hosts. Great location. Useful communal fridge and freezer.
Disliked Only 2 toilets. Showers running very hot/very cold at times. Motion sensor lighting in showers/toilets not the best and no lighting in washing up area.
