  • Level pitches at a family-run site a 10-minute drive from Narberth
  • Wild Lakes Wales five minutes’ walk; Saundersfoot 20 minutes’ drive
  • Playground and honesty shop; nearest pub within a one-minute walk
If, like one of Wales’s most celebrated sons, you’ve been longing for some green, green grass, a holiday at Little Oaks Glamping might well be in order. This family-friendly (and family-run) spot sits in the lush countryside of Pembrokeshire, a 10-minute drive from the town of Narberth. Set up in the well-maintained 10-acre meadow, then kick off your shoes, spread your toes and feel the grass under your feet – bliss. Narberth’s shops and restaurants are easily reached via two A roads, but you don’t have to go even as far as that for the nearest pub, which is, well… probably fewer than 100 steps away – another reason to be blissful (or at least grateful). Need more to persuade you to stay here? How about this: Wild Lakes Wales, a large water park with an inflatable adventure course, is a five-minute walk away. The site has a playground (in addition to heaps of room for the kids to run around), a communal fridge freezer, and a spacious shower and toilet block. Firepits can be hired on site, and there’s also a small honesty shop with a socket to charge your devices.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Visited for three nights with two children (13,10) and our dog. The owner was friendly, informative and helpful. She was present on site and nothing was too much trouble.
There were two shower rooms with a toilet and sink, great size and a real Beautiful rustic feel.
One was marked male and one female but to be honest people were using which ever one was available.
Communal plugs and USB’s were available to charge any electrical’s as this was a non electric site.
The location was perfect for exploring the local area in any direction.
The pitches were a fantastic size with a natural divider of long grass herbs and wild flowers which made for a beautiful campsite. A name plaque with a welcome sign on each pitch was a nice touch and the kids loved to spot our name when we arrived. A fire pit was included with the stay and we felt was a great touch and this cost nothing extra. A £5 bag of firewood (supplied on site) lasted us two evenings which was brilliant as we could sit out and watch the stars and satellites Passover while sitting next to the fire.
It was quiet on an evening and there were activités and places to eat all in walking distance.

Disliked Really hard to put a dislike as we absolutely loved the site and would love to return.

Our only one if we had to give a con would be that there was one female toilet/shower room and one male toilet/shower room. If the campsite was really busy, I could see People waiting awhile to use the toilet if there were people showering or a family using it.
People were using the male or female toilets if they were waiting and it was empty regardless of sex.
