  • Small family-run site in Pembrokeshire based on a working farm
  • Two and a half miles from Saundersfoot and five miles from Tenby
  • Bar, restaurant and takeaway (open during the school summer holidays)
A third-generation family business established in 1976, Masterland Farm Caravan Park has a cosy and friendly setting, with heaps of Pembrokeshire pursuits very close by. Adventure parks, zoos, a theme park and beaches galore – including the golden sands and clean waters of Saundersfoot and Tenby – are just some of the attractions within five miles of the park. As if that wasn't enough, you could also explore castles, try fishing in local reservoirs, visit National Trust properties or go nature hunting in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Masterland Farm Caravan Park is a small park set 700 yards back from the main road, suitable for grown-up campers and small families. The friendly park owners live on the property and are happy to help with tips about what to see and do nearby. The site is well-equipped when it comes to amenities, with two toilet/shower blocks with ladies' and gents' facilities, a covered area for washing up, a fenced dog-walking area, picnic benches and a laundry room. Ice creams and Calor gas are stocked at reception, and in the school summer holidays there's a bar, restaurant and takeaway on offer for breakfasts, drinks and evening meals. Masterland Farm Caravan Park is located in Broadmoor, within walking distance of a community playground and nature trail. The nearest town, Kilgetty (five minutes' drive), has a bakery, supermarket and other amenities.

Club house prices, and excellent food.

Liked: Large pitch

Disliked: Very tight to drive into pitches but pitch large.
Campsite seemed ok, nothing exciting, nothing bad apart from the showers. Water was hot and powerful enough but 6 seconds of water per push!!! Nobody can get washed in that and cery small cubicles. Not our favourite site abd not that cheap

Local attractions

Saundersfoot is the nearest beach to Masterland Farm Caravan Park at just two and a half miles away; both it and the beaches of Tenby four miles away are popular with all sorts for their family-friendly vibe, watersports and golden sands. Coppet Hall, Wisemans Bridge and Amroth beaches are also nearby: Wisemans Bridge is best for energetic canines as it’s dog-friendly all year round (there’s a pub on the seafront too), while Coppet is good for rockpooling and Amroth is quite a sight indeed with the fronds of ancient trees sticking up from the sands at low tide. Fossils can often be picked up along the beach here too; retire to examine your haul in the seafront Amroth Arms or New Inn. Next up for most families – or first up depending on how insistent the kids are – are the three Pembrokeshire theme parks within five miles of Masterland: jolly Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Oakwood Theme Park and Heatherton World of Activities.
