Liked: The caravan had everything we needed and Rhiannon and Tim were very helpful throughout our stay.
Facilities were very clean.
My boys enjoyed walking in the wood and playing on the field. There is lots of room for children to play.
Sleeping area was cosy and very comfortable. It was raining during the night we stayed and it was lovely listening to the rain on the roof!
Shower facilities were close by and very clean.

Liked: Such a fantastic location, quiet, outstanding views, clean site. With local walks to suit everyone's ability. On site stream to enjoy with the family to explore. Onsite orchard which the children loved to explore. Onsite ponds to sit and relax while listening to the wildlife. A short drive to visit local town, historic places and family fun farms. Owners so friendly, very informative of local area and history of the site, going that extra mile to help us experience a true rustic and beautiful break. Savi the vintage caravan was perfect with all we needed for our stay, outside decking to sit and relax and enjoy the surroundings and to eat your meals after cooking on the outdoor stove and oven combo unit, just perfect. The toilets, shower facility all clean and kept tidy. We really enjoyed our stay, myelf, my son and grandson and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. Definitely recommend and such good value for money.

Liked: Beautiful quiet location. Tim provided an excellent service to us, giving us regular weather updates and regularly checking if we were ok. He even sent texts when we had heavy rain to check on the family and ask if we needed anything. Also gave excellent advice on where to go with our children in the daytime. Clean facilities and choice of pitch which made a huge difference as we were travelling with friends. We will definitely be visiting again!

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: The campsite was quiet and peaceful. The facilities were clean and tidy.
Tim and Rhiannon, who run the site, were lovely and helpful. Tim suggested some places for day trips and arranged extra wood for our campfire when we needed it.
The children in the group (aged 8 to 10) loved pond dipping at the central pond and spent loads of time playing in the stream at the bottom of the field.
We were fortunate to have some lovely weather with only a few rainy days, and although the campsite can't control the weather, being able to sit and watch the sunset and then stargaze was a treat!
Disliked: As with all campsites, a pair of wellies is essential!!
