Want to be alone with your beloved in West Wales? Welcome to The Nature’s Nook, a cosy off-grid cabin sheltered by trees and hedges on a peaceful permaculture farm five minutes’ drive from Blaen-y-coed in Carmarthenshire. The wooden cabin is neatly furnished with a comfy kingsize bed (linens all provided), living space, a fully equipped kitchen corner with thoughtful touches like a coffee maker, and an ensuite with an electric shower. Outside, there’s a private garden with a dining area surrounded by greenery, and the all-important hot tub for relaxing in with a glass of something chilled. There’s very little to disturb the path of romance at this remote spot, just the soothing sounds of nature, dark starry skies on clear nights and lots of fresh air. There are plenty of forest walks and scenic drives easily accessed from the cabin too. However, you are comfortably close to a small essentials shop (10 minutes’ drive), or the supermarkets and restaurants of Carmarthen (20 minutes), where there’s also an impressive castle if you feel the urge to do a spot of urban sightseeing.
