Power optional cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite (members only)

Liked The location was good to jump on the road and see local attractions like Caernarfon. The site is small and quiet. The animals around the farm are interesting to watch. The pitches are a good size with good soft grass and clover to the side of each one.
The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Disliked You will need levelling blocks as pitches have a bit of a slope.
As a farm, expect some animal noise sometimes from early morning, but didn’t bother us much.
The drive down from the main road is narrow with bushes but do able.
Grey water disposal is a raised drain tucked in a corner, no drain to drive over and release down over, as ours is designed. Had to find elsewhere to dump grey water when out.
No WiFi (happy not to have) with intermittent 4G signal so very slow. Ok if you want to get away from that.

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite (members only)

Liked We’ve just returned from the most wonderful long weekend! From the moment we arrived, Lisa and John made us feel so welcome – they are genuinely some of the kindest and most accommodating hosts we’ve ever met. Our son has special needs and an absolute love for animals, and this place couldn’t have been more perfect for him.

The site itself is peaceful and never felt crowded, which made the whole experience relaxing for us as a family. The pitches were a fantastic size, giving everyone plenty of space without feeling cramped, and the views from the site are absolutely incredible. Everything was easy to access too, making it really straightforward to get settled in.

The animal interactions were the highlight – from watching them up close to petting, feeding, and even enjoying a little tour to meet more in the nearby fields. Lisa and John went above and beyond to make those moments special for him, and he was absolutely thrilled.

The location is ideal too: tucked away enough to feel calm and quiet, but still close to nearby towns when you want to explore. On a clear night, the stargazing is breathtaking – something not to be missed! Plus, the cycle path that runs right behind the farm is perfect for long walks or bike rides, stretching for miles through beautiful surroundings.

All in all, it was a truly memorable stay, and we can’t wait to return.

Liked Location, location, location
On the main road, but far enough away that you don't hear it.
Good sized pitches. They slope a little, so ramps needed.
The goats are amusing to watch, and keep an eye out for the giant tortoise!

Liked Wow! Wow! Wow! Where to begin.....
Site owners are fantastic! Warm and welcoming, very friendly and nothing too much trouble.
Pitches are fabulous with electric hook up, slightly sloping but no trouble at all ( we used levelling ramps ).
Excellent recycling facilities, elsan and waste disposal area. Even a hose pipe available to fill up our motorhome with water.
Beautiful countryside views with a fabulous path from site. Old railway line which is now a brilliant path....level and tarmac which is great for dog walks, cycling and push chairs. 10 miles to canaervon if you are feeling energetic!! Or to another town in 2 miles if you go the other way.
Site has lots of animals for children to see...goats, rabbits, chickens, horses, pigs, sheep and even 2 tortoises! No bother or noise from them ...they were fantastic!
We highly recommend this CL Site if you are staying in the area! Absolutely brilliant! We will be back. Thank you ❤️

Local attractions

Bron Hendre is set on the outskirts of Eryri National Park, approximately 25 minutes’ drive from Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon) itself, so it’s a gateway to all the climbing, cycling and hiking possibilities in the region. Adrenaline-junkies can test their head for heights on the zipwires at Zip World Penrhyn Quarry (35 minutes’ drive), or go caving deep underground at Go Below (50 minutes). The site is also handy for the Llŷn Peninsula (half an hour), with wonderful Irish Sea beaches such as lively Abersoch (35 minutes) or more remote, dog-friendly Porth Ceiriad (40 minutes) along the Llŷn Coastal Path. If you’re feeling extra-energetic, you can scramble up to the top of Yr Eifil (half an hour) for truly spectacular views over the Menai Straits to Anglesey. It’s an easy-enough hop over to the island itself. The Britannia Bridge (25 minutes) gives access to cultural sights like National Trust - Plas Newydd House and Gardens (half an hour) and moated Beaumaris Castle (35 minutes), as well as family-friendly spots like Anglesey Sea Zoo (35 minutes) and Foel Farm Park (40 minutes).
