Liked: The hosts were welcoming and very friendly, helpful and informative. The views were spectacular.
Camping on a working farm had a lot of charm and the nights by an open campfire with views of the mountains under the stars was very relaxing. The showers and toilets are basic but perfectly adequate for a camping trip, it was really nice having a hot shower in the morning after a night by the fire.there is a sink for washing up in the open field and the water is from a spring so should be boiled for drinking.
There are plenty of walking routes in the area with information available onsite. The hosts even lent us a map to plan out our routes.
We had a lovely time there and only wish we had more time there.

Liked: Lovely Relaxed feel in natural farm setting.
Well kept tidy site and facilities
Polite reception/owners made us feel quite at home
Easy to find via satnav
Optional facilities available e.g. fire pits, fridge and freezer
Short drive away from local towns Tywyn, Fairbourne, Barmouth, Aberdovey etc.
Excellent views across the Welsh landscape (you can even see the sea when the weather is clear)
Disliked: Not a negative point but only thing I would mention is the toilet and shower facilities were a bit minimal (just a few portaloos and a single shower pod unit) but all were well kept and did the job just fine. Didn't bother me, but if you are expecting/used to a shower block etc. this may not be the site for you.

Liked: Fantastic views
Peaceful surroundings with walks from the site
Very friendly and welcoming owner
Allowed fires and bbqs
Disliked: Portaloos do the job and were kept clean but could do with lighting and a bin inside. The only bin on site was a small bin by reception.

From the manager: Thank you very much for your review. We appreciate the feedback.
We will review the lighting around the toilets, we have had some issues finding suitable solar lights.
With regards to bins in the toilets, we do struggle to find space to place bins there, but we will review this.

Liked: We had a lovely bank holiday weekend at Nant Madyn . Emma was so friendly and helpful. We were able to use a fridge and buy water which was really useful. The toilets and shower were brilliant. My children loved watching the cows with their calves in the next field. The views from the campsite were stunning only wish we could have stayed for longer. We loved the area, completed the beautiful waterfall walk and had a lovely day at aberdyfi .
Disliked: Nothing.
