We really enjoyed our stay & would stay again :)
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Beautiful scenery; relaxed & friendly atmosphere; friendly, organised & helpful owners; cleanliness; that you can choose your own pitch; lots to do in the area; lots of hot water; no dogs allowed & family friendly..the owls & the weather!
Disliked Only one freezer & 2 charging sockets for whole site. Slats on shower doors (i was nervous someone would be able to look in..but pegged a tea towel over them!) & that you have to keep pushing the button on the shower to keep it going. Having to pay for wi-fi..though kind of good too, as we couldn't afford it, so our kids had less access to screens!

Beautiful campsite perfect for families.
Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Large flat pitches so plenty of space to park your car next to your tent.
Nice little park for children to play.
Toilets and showers were very clean.
Most other campers were respectful of the quiet times and things settled down from 10pm onwards.
Great base with lots of places to visit nearby, bus stops and train station nearby if you don't fancy driving.
Owners were friendly and helpful.
It really is a fantastic place to stay.
Disliked Having to press the showers constantly for water. Once pressed they didn't stay on for long.
