What customers say
Graig Wen boasts a gorgeous, tranquil spot with amazing views, perfect for exploring local trails and towns. Guests rave about the welcoming hosts, spotless amenities, and nice touches like pastry orders. It’s highly recommended for its vibe and scenery, though some touring pitches are road-adjacent, potentially noisy for light sleepers. Shared showers are basic but clean and functional.

Stopover power optional cement/asphalt campervan campsite (no awning)
Liked Amazing views, great hosts, quiet site, clean facilities, close location to trails, ease of check in / check out, clear communication and just generally a lovely site!
Kids enjoyed the hammocks, rope swing and ability to play in the massive fields. Great access to the estuary trail for our bikes to Barmouth / Fairbourne and other locations!
The pizza night that happened to be on the day we arrived was great, lovely to enjoy a freshly baked pizza and a Welsh beer and cider!
4G signal was good on Three and Vodafone. Starlink works well on motorhome pitches 1-4 or camping fields.
Disliked Nothing!

Great little place with stunning views.
Power optional cement/asphalt and grass campervan campsite
Liked The hardstanding part of the site is very peaceful and small it only has about 9 pitches with 2 glamping huts on.
It has a honesty freezer with an wide range of ice creams. Great seating area to chill out area which in under cover so if it's raining you can still socialise.
The piches are not far to the shower block and toilets. The showers are brilliant but no lighting once it turns dark when walking to and from the shower, so need to take a touch with you.
Stunning views and a very relaxing place to be when you need a break from your day to day life.
It is a very clean site with the bins next to the toilet block.
This site is a big site but it offers camping with and without electric pitches which are all on different levels, top hardstanding, middle field with electric then the bottom field is off grid camping.
Great place for exploring this part of Wales with a lot of walks around the area. It is about 5 miles to Barmouth. We did the walk into Barmouth but from the hardstanding pitches you need to walk down steep hills which are great going down but not going back up but once you are down at the bottom of the hill you are on an old railway track which has been leveled so it is ideal for walkers, push bikers. You walk along the estuary to the long bridge to get over to Barmouth. On the way back we got a train to Fairbourne then a bus back to the site so we didn't have to walk up the big hills again.
Bus stops at the entrance of the site but they isn't an actual bus stop post but the buses will pick you up from there and drop you back off so not got far to walk. The timetable is on a notice board near the male toilets. If with a family it's worth getting a day ticket which was valid to travel on any buses in Wales and it was only about £15 per day. We went to several places so we didn't need to pack up our transporter and we could take in all the views and just hop on and off the buses and you couldn't get to them places in your vehicle and pay for parking for the price of the day tickets.
I would definitely go again and I would recommend to family and friends.
Disliked Some of the staff didn't speak to you when we seen them again after we said hello we wasn't spoken back to. The washing up station should have a bit of a shelter due to rain. Had a problem with the shower lights going off whilst shaving my legs and washing my hair so had to wrapp my towel round me and go out my cubicle to get the sensor to see me so they would come back on. The drinking water tap should be moved or the gate should open the opposite way so when the gate is open you can get to it without any fuss.
