What customers say

This peaceful, well-kept farm site boasts spacious, serviced spots and spotless facilities. Enjoy lovely rural views near Caernarfon. Minor farm smells/noise are unobtrusive; WiFi can be spotty. Highly recommended, guests plan to return.

Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite

Liked What a lovely little site. Level pitch. Lovely views to the mountains, and a very easy stroll down the hill to Caernarfon. (not quiet as easy in the way back up the hill but not really taxing).
Really quiet site, so I had a great night's sleep
Toilets and showers were clean and the shower was lovely and hot without a timer.
Oh and the little calfs in the barn oposite were very sweet to watch (from across the road, obviously access to non farm staff is not permitted)

Disliked The only slight disappointment, was I didn't have longer to stop there, I'd have rather enjoyed a trip on the vehicular steam railway.

Liked The pitch was great, flat and plenty of space in between. Toilet and showers, excellent. Really quiet, other than some US flyboys in their Hercules. Pre comms arrival from Eilir excellent.

Liked Great hardstanding pitches, mostly level with great views. Water and grey waste on pitch. Toilet blocks modern and clean, and a good hot shower with plenty of pressure. Lovely walk along the side of the railway into town (about 25 mins)

Liked Great site with easy access from main road. Pitches were spacious with lovely views. Showers and toilets were spotlessly clean with plenty of space and hot water. Only 20 minutes walk into Caernarfon along the pathway next to the railway line bringing you out near the castle. Will definitely be back.

Local attractions

Start by taking a stroll into Caernarfon to see the mighty waterfront castle, a huge and well-preserved place with lots to see and plenty of puzzles and activities for the tiddlers; it’s worth having a look around the Royal Welch Fusiliers Regimental Museum while you’re here too. The Welsh Highland Railway runs steam train rides from Caernarfon: grab a spot at the station to watch them depart or get all aboard for the 25-mile ride through the mountains to Porthmadog. If you prefer to travel under your own steam, there’s easy access to the scenic 12-mile Lôn Eifion cycle path, a hard-surfaced path that skirts the edge of Snowdonia for some great views and village visits. For days by the seaside, cross the Menai Suspension Bridge to Anglesey – there are some lovely beaches on the island (Traeth Cymyran, 40 minutes away, is perhaps the most popular) – and the excellent Anglesey Sea Zoo, home to a seahorse breeding programme and the Lobster Hatchery of Wales. Head south instead and it’s around a half-hour drive to Pwlheli on the Llŷn Peninsula, for more splendid beaches as well as wildlife-watching boat trips.
