What customers say
Adults-only site praised for peace, quiet, and beautiful rural setting. Hosts Julie & Dale are exceptionally friendly & helpful. Pitches are level, facilities, esp. showers/toilets, are very clean. Good value, metered electricity is economical. Nearby village & castle ruins are walkable.

Lovely chilled weekend away
Power optional grass RV campsite
Liked Nice flat pitches and good location near a lovely riverside cafe. The price each night was very reasonable. It was very quiet and relaxing which was lovely. The owners were very helpful and pleasant.
Disliked No pot wash area which I found a bit odd. Having to pay for electric seemed like a faff, just increase price slightly to take away the effort. Would have preferred to pay before we arrive and not as we were driving off site on our way home.

Site is beautifully kept. Showers are very clean. Hosts very friendly
Power optional grass RV campsite
Liked Dale and Julie, lovely hosts. Adults only site, so very quiet, perfect for our relaxing weekend break. Lots of little added extras like books and dvds to loan. Pay only for electricity you use. We only paid £1:50 for 2.5 days, using fridge, coolbox, lights and tv. If you forget anything, Julie and Dale very happy to help out. We were able to walk to some lovely places from the site. We can't wait to go back.

Good value for money.
Power optional grass RV campsite
Liked Lovely welcome on arrival. We were met immediately and directed to our pitch.
Good value for money. Electric is charged separately and for us worked out at £2.50 approx per night.
Walk of 20/30 mins to local village Spar shop, pub and castle ruins.
Another attraction in the area well worth a visit is Park in the Past. Lovely area to walk, sit or take part in water sports on the huge lake. Took us a slow 40 min walk from site but there is a car park.
