Liked A lovely site with very friendly, welcoming staff. We have children but came without them for a short overnight break and found it very peaceful and quiet but offered plenty to do for a family if we wanted to come back with our little ones in tow. A win-win really! Facilities were spotless and the location is excellent. The beach is a few minutes walk away and we thoroughly enjoyed an evening there in the sunshine. A very lovely stay - thank you!

Primitive gravel travel trailer campsite

Liked This has got to be one of the nicest, cleanest holiday parks we have stopped at, also the view of the sea is amazing. Staff were friendly and informative. Well maintained gardens pitches and flowers. Reception has a small shop for anything you have forgotten but there is a shell garage just a few minutes walk if required. Little India curry house and local pub next to the garage if you fancy a meal out. Again the staff were very friendly and food satisfactory.

Disliked Only down side was the wales expressway runs behind the campsite so the noise of cars etc went through the night, this is personal to me and hubby as both light sleepers, if you don’t have this issue then you should definitely book this site.

Liked First time here , friendly helpful staff, Tom especially made us feel welcome nothing was too much trouble.
Clean site well maintained.
Booked again for later on in the year .

Facilities good. Showers and toilets block were brilliant,always clean and tidy and showers were powerful and hot at all times
Great size pitches and bonus being fully serviced.
Ideal place to explore.
Conwy is lovely
Snowdonia is one hour drive - pen y pass car park
Conwy castle is lovely and then town is cute with lovely shops and bakery.

10 mins walk to the beach ⛱️
The cliff top restaurant is 15 mins drive away lovely meals and beautiful place

Liked Great site! Amazing views, plenty of space on your pitch. Good on site facilities. Nice little shop and really friendly staff. Short walk down to a pebbly / rocky beach. Nice little park for the kids.

Disliked One shower was out of use so only left two on one side of the site, so was usually a queue but it wasn't really a problem if you timed it right!

Bit of gentle activity? There are of course some cracking coast path walks just up the road, and there’s a golf course five minutes’ drive away in Abergele. Bodnant Garden (15 minutes’ drive) is an excellent place for a wander among gorgeous floral displays, and it just happens to be home to the Welsh Food Centre as well for stocking up on tasty treats while you’re there. For creature-viewing outings, take a wander around the Welsh Mountain Zoo (10 minutes) or scoot up to SeaQuarium Rhyl (15 minutes). If you’d rather try to catch glimpses of passing birds and wildlife out in the open, keep eyes peeled on walks in the Snowdonia National Park; Betws-y-Coed (35 minutes) is a good place to start walks. If you’re up for local thrills, swoosh down the slides at SC2 waterpark (15 minutes), take to the mountain-ringed surf lagoon at Adventure Parc Snowdonia (25 minutes) or shoot along the fastest zipline in the world at Zip World Penrhyn Quarry (35 minutes).
