  • Peaceful and green Mid Wales site on the banks of the Dyfi river
  • Machynlleth 15 minutes' drive; half an hour to the coast
  • Easy access from the A470; pub, shop and café 10 minutes' walk
Countryside views and convenient access all in one location? Parc Bryndyfi makes a fantastic base for a Mid Wales break – this lush green oasis of a site is a proper rural place to stay, surrounded by trees and with the Dyfi river running down one side. The convenient access comes in the form of the A470, one of the main roads running through this part of the world. It’s just outside the site, making your ins and outs nice and simple and making it easy to get out for day trips to Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park or over to the coast. For even more on the convenience front, the village of Cemmaes is about 10 minutes’ walk away, with a traditional pub (serving food as well as drinks) and an award-winning village shop/café. For more shopping and eating, head to Machynlleth, 15 minutes’ drive away. The setup at this site is fairly simple, but guests have access to smart bathroom facilities and an indoor washing-up/kitchen area. Dogs are welcome, and there’s plenty of space for them and the kids to have a good run about.

Powered grass campsite

Liked This site is in a lovely location, right by the river. It is about 10 minutes drive to a good shop and a selection of cafes, pubs etc.
Not to far to different beaches and activities. Fantastic views through Snowdonia when travelling about. On site the shower, toilet and washing up facilities are fantastic and always immaculately clean. Chris and the other staff on site are super friendly and helpful too. We will definitely be returning.

Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite

Liked Manager, Chris, was a lovely guy and very kindly shared info about local area. Facilities were excellent. Immaculately kept site with flat pitches, electric and water on pitch. Excellent value for money.

Disliked Not a dislike but laundry facilities would be a suggestion.

Primitive grass tent or campervan campsite

Liked I recently stayed at Parc Bryndyfi and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The location is stunning, with beautiful views overlooking the river, which really made the stay special. The campsite facilities were also top-notch, everything was very clean and well-maintained, which is always a huge plus. What really stood out, though, was the owner, who was incredibly nice and helpful. Their friendly attitude made us feel welcome and added a personal touch to our stay. I highly recommend Parc Bryndyfi to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable camping trip!
