A peaceful, well-kept campsite with friendly owners in a lovely riverside spot. Guests love the clean facilities, spacious sites, and playground/stream for kids. Minor suggestions for facility updates and cleaner common areas. Ideal for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

Power optional grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Scenic site with trials all around so if you are a fan of trekking, this seems like a good place to visit. I really enjoyed the river at the campsite to dip my toes into the cold stream.

Disliked Not too many running routes if you are a runner. There are some a brief driving distance from the campsite.

Power optional gravel travel trailer campsite

Liked Peaceful gem in a beautiful location. Our child loved the park, our dog loved the near by river for a refreshing dip on a hot day and we all loved the surroundings. Facilities are highly rated and extremely clean. Highly recommend.

Power optional grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked We stayed here for two nights camping. A beautiful, peaceful and exceptionally clean site.
The views are breathtaking and the owners are lovely and welcoming.
The showers are clean and hot, it was perfect for our family of 4 and our dog.
The dog exercise field is much appreciated, plenty of room for the kids and dog to run around. We all loved the creek too!
We will certainly be back, the owners were very kind to let us stay a little longer to pack up too.

Camping pod (family)

Liked Was in a peaceful location, with a small park, there is a lovely stream that the kids loved to play in, not our usual campsite, as location was quite secluded, need to enjoy driving to get to other destinations, however the scenery makes the drive worth while. The kids had a fab time as did we, we enjoyed family time with the kids playing games and enjoying the open space. Site was clean and tidy, facilities were fab, the toilets were spotless, kitchen and washing machine available, for people to use. Visited the King Arthur labrynth about half hour drive away which is good if you have children. Friendly owners.

Power optional grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked You will not go to a campsite with cleaner toilets or showers! An absolutely spotless campsite altogether. Really impressed with it.

It was so lovely and quiet, and our children loved the creek and the play area. It was also great that there was a tumble dryer for when they went and played in the creek, which was only £1 for 30 minutes.

It is a very small site, so our kids were the only ones there for a lot of our stay. They felt so free and like they had the place to themselves. My son also loved the nearby sheep farm.

Surprisingly for its location, there was even wifi on the site. This worked perfectly for Netflix when our kids were winding down after a day in the sunshine.

Disliked This is a very rural camping site. We like to be about 1 mile(ish) from a pub or cafe usually, but had to drive each time we wanted something.

On the last night, the owners also decided to have a party playing music super loudly (and more annoyingly, the same three songs over and over), which made it difficult to get our 3-year-old to sleep and affected our daughter, who has autism. Until then, it was a lovely, quiet campsite with no issues at all.

Power optional grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Wow what a site. It was so well maintained. So clean and spacious. Peaceful and relaxing. Showers were proper showers and nice and hot. A lovely little well kept park for the kids. A dog park for walking the dogs. Under cover washing up facilities. The residents on site that owned their caravans were so lovely and the grandson made friends. Beautiful stream that the children could play in with the dogs. Lovely owners that just left you too it but would speak when they saw you to make sure you was ok and had everything you needed. Great value for money and one of the best sites we have stayed on. Will 100% be returning. Highly recommend this site to anyone especially if you enjoy scenic views, have children and dogs and just loves the peace and quiet.

Power optional grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked This was the most amazing campsite
- clean facilities
- no car noises / disruptions
- staff were super friendly
- well kept, the grass was lovely
- park for the kids
- dog field for the pooches
- easy arrival and check out

The closest shop was around 7 minute drive and had everything in stock (spar)
There’s a nearby town ‘Newtown’ which was lovely and had shops, takeouts and places to eat

Disliked Having to leave
