What customers say
This spot has a great location near Fort Augustus and Loch Ness, with super friendly staff. Pitches are spacious and clean, and kids love the new play park. However, some find the facilities lacking and basic, with gravel pitches being uncomfortable. The bar and restaurant got mixed reviews.

Not suitable for families with young children
Primitive gravel and cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Play area (if it was closer to the touring tent)
Disliked Terrible toilet / shower ‘facilities’. Not family friendly at all. Small port a loo style toilets and showers. Impossible to use with small children, no benches or space to change, water temperature dangerous and kept going from freezing to burning, blocked drains so the showers flooded, full of mould, didn’t see them cleaned at all, empty toilet rolls, not even a soap dispenser in the one toilet.
7 cubicles for the whole site, not enough.
Washing up facilities also rubbish - small area and no hot water.

Great site, toilet block lets it down
Power optional gravel and cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Great location for walking into the village and getting out and about. Pitches a good size. The staff really friendly and helpful
Disliked The toilet/shower/dishwashing area is inadequate for the amount of pitches. Often had to queue to shower or wash dishes. ( the site was nowhere near full) No hand driers in toilets, ran out of toilet paper. No space for drying yourself in the shower. This is a great site and hopefully this is only temporary and they plan to improve this facility

Could be a fabulous site but as is we wouldn't recommend.
Power optional gravel and cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked The deer is nice as you come in, it's looks like a luxurious site. Then you arrive at the unkept field at the back for tourers.
Disliked The pictures make this site look better than it is. I am sure it's great for those staying in the cabins. The toilets and showers are a few ports loos plonked in the middle of a field. The play area is nowhere near the touring site. It looks like the touring field is an afterthought. Just a way to make some extra cash without putting in any effort.
