What customers say
This spot gets high marks for its prime location near Rosslare Ferry Port, perfect for overnight stops. Guests rave about the friendly staff, spotless facilities, and tidy pitches. Though some called the amenities basic, they were mostly seen as sufficient. Small downsides noted were shower fees, trash charges, and occasional road noise.

Perfect for ferry stopover in our campervan with good food options.
FHU grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked A wonderful welcome from the very lovely Nicky. We thought the road noise would bother us but it didn't. Great dinner at Cushens across the road. We didnt have a booking but they worked hard to accommodate all (there's also a Chinese takeaway across the road if you can't get a table at Cushens). Stayed to listen to band playing for a while. All super friendly in the bar. So, big thank you to Nicky and all at Cushens.

Powered grass and gravel tent campsite
Liked Very friendly and helpful staff, gave great info about surrounding area, pitch site was clean and close to toilet and shower facilities which were clean and well maintained. Electricity at each pitch site and a place to park your car. Campsite was in a great location being short driving distance from a number of activities, beaches, and notable sights. Cushen’s pub which is 5 minute walking distance from site had excellent food and service also.

Disliked Too close to main road, for me.
Very minimal toilet facility, 2 Showers, 2 toilets (one if them was locked the night we stayed?) and one wash sink for the site.
Charging to leave waste!

FHU grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked The employees were always so nice and helpful, the site is a nice size and never felt over crowded even when it was fully booked.
There is a secure little dog area where you can let your dog off lead and play which is a massive plus.
Nice little chinese takeaway and pub around the corner.
Close to Wexford town and Rosslare.
We’ve been here twice over the last 2 months and don’t have anything bad to say. Will definitely be back.

Functional but issues
FHU grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked On the whole quiet with background road noise, apart from the occasional lorry horn blasting as next to N25. The receptionist was lovely and helpful. The facilities were clean and there was everything we needed.
Disliked Only two toilets could do with more as quite a wait at times, but three showers which didn’t get warm for us despite paying 1 euro for 4 minutes.
The hard standings were very close together. One of the pitches had a hook up across the road. I tripped and almost fell going out in the early morning to the dog walk.
