100% would stay here again

What customers say

Friendly hosts, spotless glamping, and thoughtful details make for a relaxing stay. Well-equipped bell tents, lovely farm animals, and great amenities (showers!) are big pluses. Most would return, with minimal complaints, though some found tent privacy limited.

Bell tent

Liked Wow! This was a lovely, comfortable place to stay and exceeded all expectations. The description doesn't do it justice. This is proper Glamping! The hosts have thought of everything and there are lots of thoughtful touches. Everything is new! Each bell tent has a v comfortable and warm double bed made up, a coat stand, shoe rack, phone charging point, lights, bunting, bedside tables, crockery, cutlery, cups, glasses, pots and pans, kettle, fire-pit, portable gas ring with gas, picnic table and deck chairs - all provided. You really don't need to bring anything except bedding for the kids! Mini kitchen in a converted horse box with 2 burner gas ring and fridge (shared with all 4 Glamping tents). Compost loo and hot shower (shared between 2 tents). Fenced off bit of the field with games for the children to run around safely. Farm animals to look at and an amazing group of resident starlings to mesmerise you while you have a morning coffee or sundowner. The Caen Hill Locks (the longest 'flight' of locks in the country) is a short drive away. Lovely walks around here and up and down the Kennet and Avon Canal. Also not far from Longleat Safari Park and Stonehenge. Would thoroughly recommend this place and hope to return one day. A big thank you to our hosts for all their hard work setting this place up.

Bell tent

Liked A lovely site where the hosts are so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much for them and they respond very quickly if you have any questions. Loved the fact it was safe for our children to run around and play and they provided some play equipment such as swing ball and football goals.

Our children were interested in then animals, in particular the pigs and the hosts had plenty of time to talk to them about the pigs and the food they gave them. This made it extra special for our children.

We would love to come back and maybe spend a few more days at the site as we packed a lot into the couple of days we visited this time.

Bell tent

Liked We had THE BEST time in a yurt at Little Thornham. A very peaceful campsite, with a farm vibe (which we loved) but with hot showers, and a kitted out little horse box kitchen. Views over the plains were fabulous. Gorgeous fire pits, personal for each yurt. The owners are very welcoming and easy to talk to. They clearly take pride in their work, and they should be proud! We took a day trip to Stonehenge and spent another day in a canal side pub in the sunshine! Good times! Sausages were good too! Thank you little Thornham x

The farm animals around was a highlight as an animal lover. Was sitting in the evening reading and got a visit from a chicken. The staff was friendly.
