  • Small simplistic camping with beautiful views over the Chew Valley
  • Perfect for those looking to escape city life between Bristol an Bath
Situated on the Avon Cycleway looking out over the Chew Valley, here we offer just a few camping pitches carved out amongst the grasses and bushes. Each pitch comes with its own picnic bench and dug out fire pit that are perfect for solo campers, couples and small groups. There are many great walks straight from the campsite with the village of Pensford just 15 minutes by foot. Camping at Tarnwell is very much back to basics and our aim is to leave as minimum impact on the land as possible. Here you will find a (very clean) compost toilet hidden in the trees, and water pumped straight from the stream. We have created the individual pitches with privacy in mind all on the left side of our 2.4 acre farm. On the right we are currently working to set up the flower farm
