  • Pubs within 20 minutes’ walk and a village store within 10 minutes
Time for some serious adults-only downtime in gorgeous and peaceful Somerset countryside? Haste ye to family-run Daisy Farm, a pop-up site 10 minutes' drive away from Highbridge in Somerset. It has simple facilities including a shower and a loo. The grass pitches are on a fourth-generation, family-run working farm, with a dairy herd grazing right next to the camping field and curious donkeys to befriend. Dogs are welcome, and your canine companions can look forward to lots of exercise on country walks. Please just keep them under tight control while on site. Fancy a change of scenery? Leave the car behind at your pitch and amble along the quiet Somerset lanes to a couple of local pubs (both around 20 minutes’ walk) that both serve outstanding food. There’s also a village store 10 minutes’ walk away selling artisan produce. The coast is not far away either: from Daisy Farm, it's a 10-minute drive to Burnham-on-Sea, where there's a long, sandy beach and a golf course. The Cheddar Gorge and Caves, on the edge of the Mendip Hills National Landscape, are a 20-minute drive north.

What customers say

This quiet, well-kept site offers spacious, level spots & clean facilities with hot showers. Friendly owners, a popular farm shop, & convenient access to the coast are highlights. Some found the single toilet/shower busy during peak times & desired more signage.

Primitive grass campsite

Liked This place was so lovely. I can only give it the most praise for being so quiet and peaceful. We travelled with two dogs and two couples and we had a spacious area and a shaded and wild sheltered pitch. The farm shop was a lovely addition and the toilets and showers were clean with lovely hot water!

Disliked Despite not being the Site managers fault. There was an aggressive dog on the site at the same time as us, which made our dogs have to stay close/in the car on occasions.

Primitive grass campsite

Liked Easy going. Quiet. Loved watching the cows go and return from milking each morning. Their unrushed wander back to their field set the pace for the day.

Disliked Nothing if you want a basic, unfussy campsite

Primitive grass campsite

Liked Very quiet site which was perfect for us. Toilets, washing and showering facilities were very close to the field and cleaned regularly - we never queued once for anything. Onsite small farm shop if you forgot anything. Camping pitches were level throughout the field. We loved the fact the cows were in the next field to us one of the nights as this provided evening entertainment watching them :)

Primitive grass campsite

Liked Facilities were clean, presentable and never ran out of the obvious. The addition of the portable toilet and shower are great and incredibly clean and well cared for...
Location is great for a long lazy walk to a pretty sleepy village and a 6 ish mile drive to Burnham on sea, Brean sands a bit further and Weston a bit further on...
Fresh water on site and a little shop. Lovely young owners who obviously pride what they have...

Disliked I can't fault it at all for my 2 night stay...
