Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked: Easy going site if you just want basics. There is a shower which takes 2x£1 coins to use it, we didn’t but it looked in a nice clean shed.
Washing up station with cold water only which is fine, the toilet is a little walk away for the night time and there is only 1 if the pub isn’t open. It was fine for us as it was quiet but I could imagine it would be different if the field was full

Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked: Lovely basic campsite, situated right next to the pub which serves lovely food and drinks.
Relatively quiet with few children.
Friendly staff, very few rules apart from the usual expected ones.
Disliked: Could do with more toilets and showers.
There was an issue with the shower in that is was actually far too hot.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Relaxed campsite with good access, friendly hosts and free-form pitches was perfect for a group gathering
Disliked: One out-of-hours toilet wasn't ideal - but there wasn't an issue with cleanliness or availability and the pub was very welcoming inside of opening hours. Handy for drinks and food as well (including to take back to the pitch)

Liked: The pub staff were friendly and the Sunday roast was wonderful. The sandpit was a big hit with our children.
Disliked: Lack of toilet facilities; having only one loo overnight for over 40 campers wasn't an adequate provision, especially when that toilet was out of supplies and out-of-action for part of the time, and an awkwardly long way from the campsites when in a rush with little children. This might have been different if they hadn't had so many campers on site. A few more trees around the field edges would also have made it a nicer environment.
