Busy road and train hooting, noisy site!!
Powered grass travel trailer campsite (pet friendly)
Liked: Campsite was very clean, shower and toilet facilities was excellent. Location was perfect, shops near campsite. Very large level pitch and easy access to water facility. Staff were very helpful and work very hard to keep place clean.
Disliked: What you are not told is that if you have a dog you are put at the back of the railway line and busy road, you will not get a good nights sleep the train has to hoot every time it comes to a crossing over the line, this goes on till 11pm!!
Dog walk area is under trees and very narrow next to stream, very slippery.
The club house was not dog friendly, it was raining so could not sit outside so we never went back into it, not surprised it was empty most of the time.
The shop on site is a joke, it has opening times but only opens when the site is busy like families coming for weekend.
Don’t go by the map to walk down the town as it’s wrong, it leads you to the rail crossing over the field. There is a gate which is not signposted leads you onto a path to town, this is a very busy road.

Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (super, no pets)
Liked: For a family run independent park it had everything you need and expect from the bigger chains. Pitches well maintained, toilets and changing room constantly being cleaned. Great family half term entertainment in the club house, fishing for the kids. It was quiet too. Will definitely return.

A lovely site with great facilities, book a hard standing pitch
Powered grass travel trailer campsite (pet friendly)
Liked: Close to the motorway
Pool was booked easily each day
Facilities were clean and well kept
Disliked: We booked a grass pitch and were situated underneath trees and had to maneuver the caravan between trunks.

Great stay, kids didn't want to come home.
Powered grass travel trailer campsite (pet friendly)
Liked: Kids loved the clubhouse and all the various entertainment.
Disliked: We found the older shower block (closer to the pool and playground cubicles smaller) and the the newer block the water was colder.
