Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Useful to be able to drive the car up to the pitch to unload/load. Toilets/showers were close and it was a nice sheltered campsite.
Disliked: Toilets/showers weren’t always very clean and ran out of toilet roll a couple times when we were there. Most likely due to busy period and design of the toilet/shower blocks allowing for build up of mud.

From the manager: Hey Suzy, I am so sorry that the toilets were not up to standard. This has been fed back to the team and shall be monitored more regularly.

Bell tent
Liked: Lovely campsite, great location and a very safe environment. It was a great space for the kids to run around and play with friends but not so big we had to worry where they were. Kids loved the alpacas too.
We had a bell tent which was the perfect size for us and included beds so we just had to bring bedding along.
Showers and toilets were cleaned frequently.
Would definitely go again.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: The campsite was great, cool view of the hills from the field and really liked the Alpacas. All the tents with fairy lights looked magical in the full moon. Danielle and the family were great hosts, really friendly and helpful. Would recommend the walk from the footpath right next to the campsite which takes you into the hills for an amazing view of Glastonbury. Stayed 4 nights and had a great time.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Great for camping and glamping! Danielle and Brett were so, so lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. The site was nice and intimate which meant the kids could play safely and make friends. We stayed an extra night than intended, really enjoyed our stay. Toilets and showers cleaned everyday, always some loo roll. Nice to have alpacas for neighbours - the kids loved them! Close to Winscombe for takeaways and the Coop, and of course Cheddar and Weston-super-Mare. Superb. Thanks guys!
Disliked: Nothing. It was great!

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: ✅️Lovely pitch (short grass, level, kept tidy),
✅️amazing people running the place (always happy to help),
✅️very clean modern bathrooms (all 3 showers had nice hot water, good pressure, all 3 toilets cleaned at least twice a day, mirror in each cabin),
✅️nice spot to wash the dishes and refill water bottle or tank
✅️easy access by car (possibility to bring car straight to pitch spot to unload or pack, car park very close to tents),
✅️animals just over the fence (which is very nice addition for kids),
✅️5 bell tents light up in the night making awesome atmosphere,
✅️eye pleasing views and within 15-20 minutes drive to attractions for day out trips,
✅️pick-your-own strawberries field 5 min walk down the road
✅️well stocked petrol station very close (literrally 2 min drive)
✅️dog friendly
✅️beauty studio just by the car park
Disliked: front sign could be more visible or slightly bigger but google had no problems to find it
river next to campsite isn't the one you would like to take a dip in

Bell tent
Liked: Lovely little campsite close to Cheddar. The alpacas are very cute and the field is well set up for children to safely run round playing together. The bell tents are great. Recommend bringing a canopy or small gazebo if the weather looks iffy so that you can still sit outside.
