What customers say
Spacious, basic site with stunning sea views and friendly owners. Generous pitches, generally clean portaloos/showers (some suggest updates). Campfires allowed. Near amenities/walks, but difficult waterside access. Peaceful, back-to-basics escape.

Excellent site, and would definitely book again
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Very spacious, quiet campsite. Very clean, beautiful views and was just what we wanted for our little break
Disliked The only thing was the toilets really smelt, but due to hot weather I'm not sure this could be helped.

Friendly staff / owners. Good spacing between pitches. Will return.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Really friendly owners/operators who were visible on site a lot and happy to chat.
The pitches are nicely spaced so you didn’t feel too close to each other.
Good location with nice views over estuary.
Short walk to shops (Aldi) and bus into Weymouth.
Dark surroundings so stars looked great at night.
Raised fires and BBQs allowed - hurray.
Good communication arrival email.
Disliked Loos seemed to get dirty (people not flushing before number 2s = sticky poos left in toilet bowl in mornings!). Perhaps a bigger sign to ask people to flush before (and after obviously)? But they were cleaned at least once a day.
Easy win: More hooks to hang things in showers please.
Water could get a little hot but this was pre-warned in detailed arrival email.
Larger groups were a little noisy, but you get them everywhere, especially a busy bank holiday weekend.

Facilities portable loos & showers, showers were abit hit and miss
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Great site peaceful and a great base for exploring weymouth , great size pitches so you had your own space not like dome sites that put you so close. Nicky was lovely and kept the site up together and works hard.

Liked "Beautiful setting with stunning views. Just wish the portaloo had matched the scenery!"
Disliked The only downside was the portaloo, which could definitely use some improvement. Other than that, a lovely spot to stay!"

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked View was lovely. Portals only which were clean. There was a van selling coffee and sandwiches in the morning but we didn’t use it.
Disliked Tiny sign on the top of the road with their name which said tents only and as we were a camper van we drive past.
Close to a river or a large water pond which attracted too many tiny insects for my linking.
It was extremely basic, which is fine if that’s what you want.

I would definitely book here again had a lovely chilled weekend

Disliked The behaviour of others staying making it very disruptive for others. Behaviour like this should not be accepted as makes the experience for others unpleasant . The family had a disagreement but voiced were raised , aweful language . This went on for 2 hours ! I don't expect my daughter to have to listen to that when all we wanted was a nice peaceful and happy night camping
