You’ll be able to squeeze the maximum amount of sea air out of your Dorset coastal break when you stay at East Fleet Farm Touring Park – this spectacular location is on the shores of the Fleet Lagoon, with views over Chesil Beach to the open sea beyond. Having sea views from the site means that you may be tempted to hang around on your pitch, put your feet up and simply take in the scenery for much of your break. And that’s not a bad idea at all – pitches are generously sized, with access to a play area and playing field for kids that may need a bit more activity. The well-stocked shop has various camping/caravan accessories and consumables, and it’s also the place to pick up a newspaper and an ice cream to take back to your camping chair. For more substantial eats, head to the on-site bar, which has an extensive food menu as well as a range of local drinks. It really is worth making the effort to get out and about locally though: there are some stunning walks on the South West Coast Path (which passes next to the site) and plenty of places to go for a bike ride. Weymouth and Dorchester are easily accessed too, as are the watersports of Portland and attractions such as Abbotsbury Swannery.

The bar opens weekends during low season and then more regularly during mid season. It is open nightly during the school holidays.

Liked: Excellent bathroom facilities. Great shop witha range of essentials, plus a VERY well supplied camping section.

The restaurant was a bonus - decent food and beer. As was the option to order criossants and baguettes for each morning - they were still warm when we collected them, The pain au chocolat were EPIC.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful - a great team.

The views across to Chesil Beach and surrounding area was beautiful. I'd also recommend a stroll to The Lugger Inn, as you pass the Fleet Old Church - very small, but very pretty.

Liked: Everything was superb, neat, clean tidy and the proximity to the Fleet, Chesil beach and south west coastal path was fantastic. We picked great weather which always helped. Also excellent value for money

Liked: Excellent site which was well maintained and very clean. The range of facilities catered to all our needs. The Pub and resturant served good and reasonably priced food. All staff encountered were helpful and friendly.

Disliked: Sadly the fleet is now a full blown nature reserve so canoeing and cycling are not allowed. However there are some good walks along the shores.

Liked: Great location, with excellent facilities. The grounds are kept & maintained perfectly, along with the toilet & shower blocks, which were spotless. The pitches are well spaced with ample room to have an awning. Well stocked shop, and the bar is welcoming with a good selection of food, served in 'Hearty' portions.

Powered grass tent campsite

Liked: Lovely clean venue. Shower blocks were great you get separate cubicles each one has shower sink and loo with a lockable door. Club house was great food lovely! Bingo was fun. Location is perfect about 15 mins to Weymouth and Portland. Shop is handy too. Only thing that I noticed that was expensive was the butter at £3.50 But all the rest reasonably priced.
We had very loud neighbours who weren’t very considerate on the Saturday morning 5.30 am, they packed their tent up so we thought they left so didn’t say anything during the day, then saw they re pitched their tent in the evening (very strange!) so we mentioned to bar manager as we didn’t want a repeat. He called a lovely man possibly security over to us to reassure us that if we rang the number it would be sorted. We decided against it incase they were louder the next day, which they weren’t thankfully. However was really impressed with the quick response and reassurance. Staff very friendly , WiFi was a bonus, We will be back!

Local attractions

Can’t keep your eyes off the sea views? Pick up the South West Coast Path at the bottom end of the park, or head for favourite spots along the Jurassic Coast like West Bay (half an hour’s drive) and Lulworth Cove (35 minutes). The Isle of Portland (15 minutes) is also a great place for a walk, and it’s also got lots of watersports including windsurfing, coasteering and scuba diving. Weymouth (10 minutes) is another perennial favourite for its lovely sandy beach and attractions like the Sea Life Centre and Pirate Adventure Golf. You can also get to the town on two wheels by picking up the Weymouth Trail cycle route from the bridleway by the site (or follow the full nine-mile trail up into the hills…) Other options for days out nearby include Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens (15 minutes), Vurlands Animal Farm (20 minutes) or an arty afternoon at Sculpture By The Lakes (half an hour).

Bookings cannot be amended within 14 day(s) of arrival.
Modifications are subject to a £12.00 ($14.93) fee.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
