Peaceful, spacious, and clean site with super friendly hosts. Guests rave about spotless facilities, tranquil vibes, and beautiful scenery. Limited capacity means a relaxed, roomy experience. Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Large pitches. Limited number of tents allowed.
Disliked Not enough toilets (had to queue in the mornings) and after the morning rush they were dirty. Showers went hot and cold. Dogs owned by people camping - barking a lot, and often not on leads. Campsite owners ought to enforce and check that dogs are always on leads (not everyone appreciates your dog sniffing around or cocking its leg on your tent) - campsite owners seemed more intent on making friends with everyone than ensuring site rules were followed (another example - at least 2 groups had wood fires even though these were forbidden, which were in use when Rob was doing his rounds but nothing was done). Also could hear constant busy road noise (and trains) from a main road.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Such a lovely site. Toilets and showers were clean. Washing areas well maintained. Very quiet throughout the day and night. Close to lots of local places. The view of the house is stunning and lovely to wake up to. Rob greeted us in person when we arrived. Staff very approachable and friendly. Site is easy to find off the main roads and email received before our stay explaining the routes was great as some sat nav directions can be incorrect. We had such a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend. Will return.
Disliked Nothing.

Tranquility in rural Dorset
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Peaceful and friendly site, and absolutely beautiful. Really relaxing. Rob was on hand for any queries and expert knowledge on places to walk, and considering the site had only just opened up this week for the season everything was working smoothly. Will definitely go again.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked This campsite is so peaceful, so quiet, so clean and just altogether brilliant. It is the second visit we have made and we intend to go again next year.
We spoke to Rob who told us they allow a maximum capacity of 28 pitches which is what they had whilst we were there. We absolutely loved this because it meant the place was quiet, with plenty of space between pitches, and was just perfect for the two of us who were going to have a relaxing break prior to our wedding!
The toilets and showers are spacious. They are clean and well looked after.

Not over croweded, family friendly & clean
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Very relaxed! Lovely campsite, clean and safe. Felt more than comfortable for my children to take rubbish to the bins and go to the loos on their own.
Hosts are super friendly and pop by each day. We camped here last year and I’m sure will continue to do so.
The setting is beautiful & there is lots of space to set up camp
