Liked: Quiet location. Close to local village with a lovely pub (The Royal Oak).
Disliked: Only one toilet, which was busy in the morning with about 10 vehicles on site.
The gate was open when we arrived and remained open all night,, so anyone could have come in.

Liked: This site was beautiful, really quiet and we were made to feel very welcome straight away. Toilets and hot water was were really handy and we were in easy distance of a local shop and pubs. We went biking when we were there and the local area for riding is amazing. Richard from the sports club even let us use a football so our little boy could play on the football pitch. It’s a quiet location, we were the only ones here but all the more special for it. We will be back, thanks for letting us spend a lovely weekend here.
Disliked: Nothing all was great

Liked: Good stop over for one or two nights. Clean toilets inside the clubhouse. A warm greeting, very peaceful setting, dark at night and you just hear the owls. Safe, cctv operation and they come back and lock the gate at night. The Royal Oak is a 10 minute walk down the hill into the village, very good pub food value for money or there is a permanent burger van on the industrial site adjacent to the camp ground just off the main road. Campers - embrace the entrepreneurship of this village sports club and give them a go.
Disliked: Nothing, we read the description and knew what we were getting for the money!

Liked: Quiet location, handy for the local pub. Clean facilities
Disliked: Nothing, needs to be viewed as what it is. It’s a local football club raising funds by allowing camping in the grounds.

Also advised on where we could go for food or local convenience store etc. very welcoming and great location would def stay again , added bonus of helping the local community

Liked: This is exactly how it is described, a level area between the 2 pitches. We were not disappointed the views are amazing and the staff we dealt with were very friendly and welcoming. There was footbal practice the evening we were there but that did not impeed on us at all. I have read the negative reviews and to be honest they are rather petty. This is run by a village charitable organisation thinking outside the box to raise money.
Disliked: nothing
