Liked: The tranquility! I could choose my own pitch which helped me feel more comfortable. The sound of the birds, the small brook and the cows and sheep was just what I needed.

Liked: We had an absolutely fabulous time at Porte Meadows this weekend. It was just the two of us with the whole site to ourselves, as we were the only fools who fancied it in a monsoon of hail, snow and freezing temperatures. As soon as we arrived we were fortunate enough to get stuck in the mud on the entrance to the field. Luckily, Dave and his merry men were on hand to rescue us from our muddy woes, in an epic battle of man vs. Nissan Qashqai. 10/10 service, we were out of our rut in a jiffy.
Site has toilets and a shower if needed, we didn't use the shower but the toilets were nice and clean, with a drinking water tap/hose on the outside.
The site is beautiful, set nicely looking over the rolling hills of Exmoor, we even saw some Deer strolling about on Sunday morning accompanied by a small window of well deserved sunshine.
Can't recommend the site enough, you're left to your own devices but the guys are always on hand if ever needed. Looking forward to coming back (in the summer!)
Disliked: Absolutely nothing!
