What customers say
This friendly, well-kept campground offers spacious sites & stunning views. Guests loved the clean facilities, especially the hot showers, & the helpful staff. The on-site airfield with occasional planes was a unique draw. Great for exploring, though some noted dated facilities and challenging slopes/access roads.

Nice friendly place, a deep clean it would be tip top,
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Fantastic view! Very friendly, Quiet, Well maintained grounds , Proper electric shower,
Disliked Could just do with a deep clean on the outside toilet block. not all flat. Children's play area needs knocking down and a new one. Nowhere free to charge phones if needed whilst having a game of pool you have to pay for 5v usb!
Toilets inside the games room are very nice.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Secure dog walking field. Pitches well kept. Good laundry facilities. Nice hot showers.
Disliked Pitches can be challenging if you do not have some kind of levelers, this is not a real dislike just a heads up if your coming here.

Powered grass campsite
Liked Staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, nothing was too much.
Pitches were spacious, fresh water points close by.
Lovely enclosed area to walk your dogs.
Fantastic view
We were lucky enough to be there the day aeroplanes were flying in and allowed to walk around them...what campsites do you get that on! Don't let the fact there is a runway on the site put you off. They aren't noisy at all.
There are plenty of showers and toilets.
Lots of beautiful areas to visit near the campsite.
Disliked A few dogs across the site kept barking. I wouldn't put this down to the campsite. More owners needing to take responsibility for their dogs. Appreciate dogs bark, but if they are with you you need to manage this.

Communal fridge/freezer is a bonus
Disliked The lane to arrive is really narrow and not very well sign posted
You will need levelling blocks if you are staying in the camping pitches
There is not enough showers or toilets if the site was to full capacity

From the manager: Thank you for the review for your 1 night stay with us, its a shame that you feel this way after we gave you a EHU pitch that was empty even though you had booked a non powered pitch.
Perhaps you did not see the signs on the main road into us or the large signs on our gate, the lane into us is a typical Devon lane leading to a lovely view, it has plenty of passing places for your small van and we have many large motorhomes, 5th wheelers stay with us without problems.
Our showers and toilets are spread out in several blocks and as you only stayed 1 night you may not have found them all.
