  • Family-run park with spectacular sea views
  • Heated indoor and outdoor pools, gym, bar and restaurant
  • Sauna, steam room, crazy golf, kids' club and adventure playgrounds
Ever wanted to pitch up near Paignton, or better yet, in a spot which has sea views and sits a few minutes' walk away from a long sandy beach? Behold Beverley Park, a site with spectacular scenery less than a mile from the rockpools of the sandy Broadsands beach. When it comes to relaxation, you might want to start at one of the park's two heated outdoor pools, then read the papers at the poolside café. Another option is to visit the sauna, steam room and hot tub, and then have steak or fish and chips (or both) along with a cocktail or a glass of wine (or both) at the Jetty Bar and Terrace. If you feel more energetic and ambitious, get crazily competitive at crazy golf or fit in a workout at the gym. There are plenty of family-friendly facilities at Beverley Park including outdoor adventure playgrounds, kids' clubs, paddling pools, soft play, family amusements and an indoor playroom. The daytime activity programme also has a variety of activities like water zorbing and beach rambles. More? There is also the Catch takeaway and Starlight bar for refreshments and a shop for those who decide to self-cater. Family bathrooms are also among the facilities.

The entertainment team this year are truly brilliant - the shows they are doing are so fab, I don't know how they have the energy!
One of our toilet blocks has just had a stunning makeover to match the other which was renovated a couple of years ago so I'm glad to hear you liked them!
We look forward to welcoming you back really soon!

Primitive grass tent campsite

Liked: A wonderful break away, friendly, clean and safe. Everything felt relaxed. A nice sized pitch and good mix between entertainment and time outdoors in the open spaces.

Disliked: A small indoor pool, so it was a shame the outdoor pool wasn’t open, but it was still great value for money!

Powered grass campsite

Liked: Clean wash rooms toilets

Disliked: The outdoor pool was closed as buildings work was going on. Also pitch 14 which we had alone with others on same row had a busy road directly behind us which was very noisy day and night which we wasn’t aware of when booking. The dog walking area you had to pass the same busy road which cars were travelling in excess of 40mph at a guess which made it difficult to cross with dogs and children. I did mention all
To camp staff who agreed with all of the above.

From the manager: Hi Alex,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
I'm sorry to hear that aspects of your stay didn't meet your expectations. I’d like to clarify that the outdoor pool wasn’t closed due to the nearby building work, which is nearly complete—it is scheduled to do open for the season on 3 May.
I understand that the road behind your pitch caused some disturbance, and I'm sorry this affected your overall experience.
I'd like to reassure that we genuinely value your comments as we continue working to enhance the experience for all our guests. We’d love to welcome you back in the future—and should you choose to stay with us again, you do have the option to request a specific pitch for a small fee if you saw any locations you preferred during your last stay.
Kind regards,
Nikki

FHU gravel and cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite

Liked: Nothing

Disliked: Asked to be close to toilets. We were close but they are closed for renovation. It was a long way down hill to only other block. Bar upstairs full of kids running round the tables rolling on the floor shrieking. It was an absolute shambles. Went to reception to find out when other bar was opening. Answer....... no idea. Stayed one night although paid for 3. Will NEVER go back there again.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Hi Honor,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review - I am sorry that you were disappointed on this occasion.
I can see that we tried to accommodate your request on arrival to be close to the toilets, however, due to being a particularly busy weekend, we were sadly unable to move you. We do advise that you let us know of specific pitch requests as soon as possible and prior to arrival, as we often have more flexibility at an earlier point.
We are a family and couples park, but we do ask that all our guests are respectful of other guests while on the park and enjoying the facilities - I understand we did have a couple of issues with some children in the bar on the Friday evening of your stay, however our team spoke to those involved and the situation was swiftly rectified.
I am sorry that you feel you would never visit again, and do hope that should this change in the future, you will give us another try - our renovations have been completed at the top toilet block, so these will be opening in the next week and are looking incredible.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if there is anything further we can do and thank you once again for your feedback, we will take your comments on board for future.
Kind regards,
Nikki

Local attractions

Beverley Park is within easy driving distance of Devon days out and activities for all weathers, whether you want to browse around award-winning attractions, dive into beach days and watersports or delve into the options of Dartmoor National Park. Kids can plead for days at Paignton Zoo Environmental Park just over a mile from Beverley Park, Living Coasts within four or Pennywell Farm at Buckfastleigh nine miles away. If history's more their thing (ha), they can try trips to the likes of Babbacombe Model Village and the Victorian street and model railway of Bygones history museum, both at Torquay. The park is close to the tiptop Devon towns of Torquay, Brixham, Torbay and Totnes; Dartmouth (ships! castle!) is about eight miles away for a day out then a Dartmouth Steam Railway trip puffing gently back to Paignton. Go underground for some time among the prehistoric and cavernous caves of Torquay's award-winning Kents Cavern, first discovered in the 16th century and the inspiration for local resident Agatha Christie's tome The Man in the Brown Suit back in 1924.
