Spacious sites, lovely setting, friendly staff. Families love the great playground & soccer field. Clean facilities w/ hot showers. Great base for exploring Haldon Forest & Exeter. Some note maintenance needs, but overall a relaxing, enjoyable, recommended stay.

For families
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Large pitches, great facilities, not far from Exeter so great for visiting the city. It’s a perfect site for families but if it’s peace and tranquility this isn’t the site for you. It’s very family oriented with a playground in the middle and can get very busy. Also there are permanent caravans on the site.
Disliked £24 a night for grass pitch with no electric is too expensive. We have stayed at better for less.

Was good, would stay here again, but not the best.
Powered grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Campsite overall was nice, entrance was lovely although not the easiest to get to. Pretty relaxed and sense of freedom. Good park for the kids.
Disliked Felt a little unkept, one shower/toilet block out of use, uneven pitches.

Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely site - great for families - clean facilities - spacious pitches
Disliked Unfortunately Haldon Forest walks and cycling are not accessible from the campsite without driving - and no shop on site or within walking distance - but friendly host and really good for families and groups

Great for camping on a budget
Powered grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Lovely big pitches, plenty of space to relax
Nice busy atmosphere on site
Friendly staff
Disliked Showers need a good clean! Never seen so many spiders and dead flies on the ceiling!!
Also shame about some of the areas that are obviously no longer in use, could be tidied up a bit to look less like a fly tipping dump!
