Great site and location, facilities are outdated and need revamping.

Liked Great site and location. The entertainment team are absolutely amazing! There is so much for kids to do. Great clubhouse (with little Costa) and plenty going on. The site shop is well stocked for necessities and the chip shop and takeaway pizzas are a great option.
Disliked Annoying the slots for the pool have to be booked and you only get 50 minutes. All bingo is cash payments but there’s only one way to get cash - a cash point that doesn’t work! The administration team in the office (especially the supervisor) are really really unorganised. The bathroom facilities are kept clean but are in desperate need of a return and are very dated.

Overall, fantastic weekend. Site was clean and staff were great!!
Powered grass campsite
Liked The site was very big with the choice of four fields and you could chose your own pitch. The toilets and showers were cleaned regularly by us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the facilities were good. The shop prices were reasonable. We loved playing Bingo every night. Always lots of entertainment on for the kids and adults
Disliked Unfortunately some guests didn't follow the rules with dogs and let them run around off the lead when walking around the camp. I also nearly stood in dog poo several times as owners hadn't cleaned this up. The day we went swimming, the pool was over crowded. You couldn't move without bumping into someone. Saw a few horrible accidents with kids falling off their scooters, trying to come down the hill right from the top. Lots of children were unsupervised on the road ( under 8) luckily we crawled up the road in the car, as so many children ran out or rode infront of us on their scooters, no parents in sight.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review Caroline. We’re really pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay, especially the flexibility of choosing your pitch, the cleanliness of the facilities, and the great atmosphere around the park. It’s lovely to know our team made a positive impression, and that you enjoyed the food, entertainment, and of course — nightly bingo! 🎉
We also appreciate you highlighting some areas of concern. We take our dog policy seriously and will continue to remind guests that dogs must be kept on leads and waste must be picked up immediately. We're sorry to hear that this wasn’t consistently followed by some guests during your visit.
Regarding the swimming pool, it can get busy during peak times, and we understand how this may have impacted your experience. We’ll continue to review our pool capacity management to make it as enjoyable as possible for all guests.
The safety of children on site is incredibly important to us. While we encourage freedom and fun, we do ask that parents supervise their children, particularly around roads and hills. e-scooters are not permitted on park. I can assure you that our staff do challenge those using them when seen. Your comments will be passed on to our team to help inform our ongoing efforts to keep the park safe for everyone.
Thank you again for your feedback — we hope to welcome you back for another fun-filled stay soon!
The campsite and staff were great. Lots to do and lovely entertainment.…

Liked The campsite and staff were great. Lots to do and lovely entertainment. Reasonable food prices and premier on site which is so cheap. Amazing Oreo cookies there in the chilled counter for £3.50!!
Bingo every night lots to do. Dawlish sea front 10 min walk with arcades, food places and go carts and bars! It’s worth the walk
Disliked The only thing that bugged me was that you weren’t allowed to take photos of your children coming down the slide even though it was just them in the photo. The slide was pointing the complete opposite way of the pool and would be impossible to even catch any other child in the pictures. I asked in reception and they said it was at the life guards discretion but they all said no despite me explaining it was only my children in the pic. I work in a school myself so I understand the pool pictures aren’t allowed where other children who may be protected are present. However I thought it was wrong how I seen other guests video recording and taking photos around the pool where other guests were in but yet I wasn’t allowed to take a pic of my child alone on the slides.
WiFi was shocking. Even in the bar with the free WiFi didn’t work

From the manager: Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're thrilled to hear you had a great time — from the entertainment and food options to the convenience of the on-site shop (and those Oreo cookies are definitely a winner! 😄). It’s also great that you made the most of our nightly bingo and enjoyed the walk to Dawlish seafront — it’s a fantastic spot for family fun.
We really appreciate your feedback about the poolside photo policy. We understand how special it is to capture memories of your children enjoying their holiday, and we’re sorry this caused frustration. Our photography policy is in place to protect the privacy of all guests, especially in sensitive areas like the pool, but we understand your point and will review how we communicate and enforce this to ensure it’s done fairly and consistently.
Thank you also for your note about the WiFi. We’re aware connectivity can be patchy at times, particularly during busy periods, and we’re continuing to explore improvements to this.
We’re so pleased you enjoyed your stay overall, and we hope to welcome you back again soon for another fun-filled holiday!.
Came back after last year. Few more improvements would make this 10/10

Liked Variety of activities for children
Booking slots for pools so not too overcrowded
Marquee bar/club house for change of scenery
Shop on site reasonably priced
Arcade
Indoor and outdoor pool
Disliked Really dark/no lighting at all on top field which is very dangerous when walking back to tent/going to the loo.
Food options stopped around 8pm on a Saturday in all bars/restaurants and we’d planned to eat at the bar.
No dog friendly area close to entertainment.

From the manager: Thank you so much for your review Tilly and for recommending us — we’re really glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! It’s great to know the range of activities, pools, arcade, and the Marquee Bar all helped make your visit enjoyable, and that you found the on-site shop reasonably priced.
We’re really sorry to hear about the issues you experienced in the top field after dark. Your feedback regarding the lighting is very helpful. Lady's Mile is in a wildlife preservation area for bats as we are in a bat lane. This means we can only follow their guidelines and provide low level lighting at night. We would recommend that those in the touring and camping areas bring a torch with them.
We also understand your frustration about food service ending earlier than expected, our times are all advertised on the app or website.
Regarding dog-friendly spaces near entertainment, we do understand this can be disappointing for some guests. However, this decision is in place for the safety and wellbeing of our entertainment team, fellow guests, and the dogs themselves. Loud music, flashing lights, and busy environments can cause stress or anxiety in dogs, and we want to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone.
Thanks again for your helpful feedback — we hope to welcome you back soon!

We also appreciate your comment about shade on pitches — while we aim to offer a variety of options for guests choosing their own pitch, we understand this can be a challenge during hot weather.
Family fun!

Great campsite, very clean and fun pool areas for children.

Liked Very clean facilities, regularly maintained and checked. My children loved the indoor and outdoor pools. We brought our 5 month old puppy and there were water bowls in every location possible. The Marquee Bar was great too. Lovely sunsets can be watched from the top of Corpse Field.
Disliked Really loud thoughtless families around us, which spoiled our stay. The site is perfect, but if you end up with families around you who have rude unruly children, it sort of soils it. Perhaps an evening patrol after 9:30pm might be the way forward.

We're sorry to hear that noise from other guests impacted your experience. While we do ask all guests to be respectful of others, we understand how frustrating it can be when this isn’t the case. Please be assured that our onsite security team do patrol the park in the evenings to help ensure everyone can enjoy a peaceful stay.
Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you back in the future for an even more enjoyable visit.
