Liked The site and location were lovely. We only stayed one night and arrived late so we didn't use the bar etc but we would definitely come back as it was a lovely site, set in a lovely area and was so quiet.

Liked Lovely quiet site, even with our two noisy kids on it!

Really nice shower facilities and washing up area.

Pitches are nicely laid out to keep relatively flat on the hilly site.

Shop was stocked with some good essentials and staff were really helpful.

Coffee van was a nice touch for the mornings.

Kids enjoyed the on site playground and the free animal tour with feeding and tractor ride was great!

Disliked Games room was arcade machines that all needed paying for. Soft play was inside restaurant so only available during the evenings at opening hours. We would have liked a more accessible indoor play area especially for the classic British rainy summer days.

Family wash room wasn't as good as the rest of the facilities - shower operates on a push button with no way to control temperature so it would get too hot for the kids.

WiFi was very intermittent, not that it bothered us much.

Liked Everything. Our stay at the park was absolutely fantastic. The kids loved feeding the animals the tractor rides. The evening entertainment was good as well. There was no need to go off site for a drink they have a bar. We used the washing facilities which is always good with kids.

Liked Pitch was easy to find and exactly what we needed. Parks were great, as we the animals. Children’s entertainment in the evening was good. Showers good.

Disliked Could have done with more showers and toilets. A shame the tractor ride wasn’t more frequent, so we missed that one opportunity.

Primitive grass tent campsite

Liked Fabulous campsite with large pitches and clean facilities. My 3 year old loved feeding the animals and the tractor trailer ride. He is already asking to come camping again. Great restaurant onsite, good portion sizes and great tasting food.

Local attractions

You might be all of a dither trying to decide which Devon attraction to visit first, as coast, country, active options and peaceful pursuits are all near Parkers Farm, whether you prefer off the beaten track or more famed areas like Dartmoor National Park. Beaches first? Your pitch is a paltry 12 miles from the Devon coastline and the seaside towns of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. If you’d like to cram as much activity as possible into one area, Dartmoor National Park's your spot: start off with horse riding or pony trekking from one of the several stables (the park has different areas marked off for different levels of rider). More urban(e)ly, Exeter, Newton Abbot and Ashburton are close to hand too if you fancy some shopping, a dip in Ashburton’s heated outdoor pool or a small flutter at Exeter Racecourse on the Haldon Hills.
