  • Level five-acre site five minutes’ drive from St Agnes beach
  • A 10-minute drive from Perranporth beach and Chapel Porth beach
  • Large pitches with views of St Agnes Beacon; 15 minutes’ walk to a pub
Keen to spend some days learning to surf or rockpooling with your children? Pack your bags for Sun Circle Meadows, not forgetting your surfboards, crab lines or bucket and spades, of course. Half a mile from the B3285, this flat five-acre site has large pitches with views of St. Agnes Beacon. The site is a five-minute drive from St Agnes beach for the aforementioned surfing and rockpooling. It’s also a 10-minute drive from Perranporth beach and Chapel Porth beach. Pick up the South West Coast Path at any of these three spots for a wild wander along Cornwall’s coast. If you’re keen to slot a pub lunch in there somewhere, the site is a 15-minute walk from a pub with a beer garden. St Agnes and Perranporth both have a great set of places to eat and drink, whether you want a traditional Cornish pasty, a coffee or to dine in a small restaurant or country pub. Small and family run, Sun Circle Meadows has facilities including two toilets, two hot showers and three washing-up sinks (all despite being off-grid). A large field has been put aside for car parking, although the family also welcome guests to use the field for a game of badminton, volleyball or frisbee. At reception, there is a small shop selling basic provisions. Around the pitches, there is plenty more space for guests to unwind and children to play. A bus stop is 15 minutes’ walk away from the site. It has connections to St Agnes, Perranporth, Newquay, Truro and Falmouth.

What customers say

Immaculate grounds, hot showers, and spotless restrooms are a hit. Guests rave about the tranquil vibe, scenic beauty, and roomy, level sites. Friendly, welcoming owners enhance the experience. Great location near pubs and transit to attractions. Note: clearer trash disposal and freezer access would be helpful.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked We were delighted to find this site suited our needs perfectly. We would have been content with more primative facilities but discovered that toilet, shower and washing up arrangements were very congenial and hygenic. The amount of space around the tents was also very generous.

Liked Fantastic eco campsite with excellent facilities. The site was well maintained with provision for wildlife.
The showers were perfect, nice and hot, just what need after a long day on the beach.
We visited the local pub just a 15 minute walk away, the Miners Arms, lovely food and a selection of real ales

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Beautiful setting, a warm and informative welcome. Fantastic facilities (loos and shower, sinks, drinking water, bbq). A well tended and clearly well-loved site.

Disliked Only one picnic table which was a walk a way from our pitch. No facilities to dispose of rubbish.

From the manager: Thank you. There are bins but i think we just need better signposts. We shall do that. Thank you for the feedback. And we hope to see you again soon.
