'Luxury glamping' doesn't quite begin to sum up this pretty place among five acres of woodland and wildflowers – with views over fields and Bodmin Moor to boot. Ekopod is a gorgeous glamping site in east Cornish countryside, just outside the village of St Clether on the edge of Bodmin Moor.
Settle down here for simpler stays – think fairy lights, firepits and no noisy events or clubhouse – but without skimping on any of the luxury you oh so surely deserve.
It's a splendid spot from which to explore Cornwall too: the area around the site has several walking routes on Bodmin Moor and the Camel Trail is nearby for strolls and cycle rides. The coast at Crackington Haven and Boscastle is within 20 minutes, Widemouth Bay is 25 minutes and Bude 30; heading south, you can reach Boscastle and Tintagel in 25 minutes and Port Isaac in 35.
The bell tent comes with a proper bed, snugly made up for your arrival, as well as outdoor furniture and a firepit. It is a three-minute walk from a barn with shared showers and toilets, along with a shared kitchen. In the barn, there is also a private locker with charging points for guests to use and a small library of books and games. The barn has a small honesty shop and a pizza oven (pizza kits are available from the team if you ask).

Take your pick in Cornwall – from stunning and award-winning beaches, scenic wildlife havens, first-rate coastal hikes, historic houses and green gardens, art galleries, theatres and days out galore for the kids... it's all within easy day trip distance.
Firstly, Ekopod is a short drive away from north coast beaches such as Crackington Haven (20 minutes' drive), Widemouth Bay (25 minutes) and Bude's beaches and sea pool (half an hour). For more coastal scenery, make your way to fishing villages such as Boscastle (20 minutes) and Port Isaac (35 minutes), made famous by Doc Martin and Fisherman's Friends.
Tintagel Castle (25 minutes), the legendary King Arthur's birthplace, makes an excellent day trip along with the nearby St Nectan's Waterfall (25 minutes).
If you fancy yourself as a bit of a foodie, you will surely find some stunning things to sink your teeth into in Padstow (55 minutes).
The area surrounding the site also has surf schools, sailing centres, golf courses, horse riding and multi-activity centres within 10 miles.
