A really nice, cozy, and quiet…
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked A really nice, cozy, and quiet place — perfect for getting away from the madness of everyday life. The atmosphere is peaceful, with just the right touch of simplicity to help you slow down and unwind. Facilities are basic but all you need: a compostable toilet and a small shower, which keep things comfortable and grounded. Kept nice and clean. If you’re looking for somewhere to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy a more stripped-back camping experience, this spot is a gem.

From the manager: Hi Sylwia! It gives us such a big kick to hear when someone has obviously had a great time on our wee site. I think you have touched on everything we are trying to achieve and so glad you got it.
Hope to see you again soon.
Beautiful location close to the coastal path and gorgeous beaches.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Fergus and Leanne were fabulous hosts and made us very welcome on our arrival. We loved the spaciousness of each pitch. The meadow has the most amazing views from the pitch where we stayed, and we loved watching the flock of 50+ goldfinches feed daily on the meadow seed heads, the blackbird reaching for her last few favourite berries on a bouncy twig, and the sun setting over the hill. We also loved listening to the tawny owl hoot at night, the nearby donkey calling, the horses cantering in the next field, the energetic cockerel, and the bees buzzing around the field, feeding on the wildflowers. Such a peaceful place.
Disliked Not a dislike, but something to be aware of - I'm five foot 9 inches and my head touched the shower ceiling. My other half (5 foot 9.5 inches) needed to squat for the duration of his shower. This was ok for us, but if you are very tall and unable to squat, you may need to consider this in advance.

From the manager: Thank you, so glad you enjoyed our site. Your comment on the shower has prompted me to add a shower stool to the facility. I think that should do just the trick.
Hope to see you again very soon.
Absolutely fantastic back to nature campsite.…
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Absolutely fantastic back to nature campsite. We were looking for something with a wild feel but a few amenities for our first camping trip with our toddler and Lena May’s was just perfect. The pitches are a fab size and secluded and we loved the meadow. Fergus is super helpful and was great when we had some tent issues. Facilities are clean and shower is warm and powerful. We’ll definitely be back!

A natural slice of paradise
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked This is a perfect back to nature campsite for those who want a break from the world rather than more of it. There's no road noise and on clear days we enjoyed a great view of the stars and even saw a comet shower whilst enjoying our campfire. The facilities are spotless and it's a perfect place to let young children roam free without worry (ours are 4 and 7). The host is really helpful, easy to contact and couldn't do more to make us feel welcome. The area is amazing too, nearby Helston town has lots going on, some fab walks or bike rides down to Porthleven as well as theme park and plenty of beaches to explore etc, we even managed a daytrip to the Scilly isles and Lands end which we also really enjoyed.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Wonderful location in a nature setting with lots of space to pitch and privacy offered by the tall meadow grass between. A great central location from which to explore. A very friendly welcome from Fergus. I had a great break and was very relaxed travelling alone to this beautiful spot. Spotlessly clean too.
