  • Secluded site with excellent views, set over two scenic acres
  • Within four miles of Falmouth, the River Fal and sandy beaches
  • Take the nature walk down the site valley through the bluebell wood
Many folk who come to Cornwall seek a base for its north and south. And secluded is often an option too, given how popular the place is in the summer months. Add both those wants to splendid surroundings, a view over a grand valley, and the peace of the Cornish countryside… and you get Menallack Farm Caravan and Camping Site. The owners rightfully point out that this is a very pretty part of Cornwall – and the site's rightly pretty too, set over two scenic acres with a nature walk down its valley, through Bluebell Wood and to a stream at the valley's bottom. Firepits are available near the pitching field and in the woods. There are also showers, toilets and a washing-up area. It's only two and a half miles from here to both Trebah Gardens and Glendurgan Gardens, three miles from the nearest beach, and within easy day trip distance of most towns, resorts and attractions on the north and south Cornish coasts. A farm shop two miles away from Menallack Farm stocks a good range of local fruit and veg, free-range meat and poultry, bread, Cornish milk, butter and cream, homemade pasties, pies, cakes and quite a bit more. Beyond that, Falmouth is four miles away for supermarkets and the like.

Liked: This place was amazing 🤩. It was very very quiet ! Bliss !! The showers and toilets were up together and clean. Lovely utility room for everyone’s convenience. Thankfully books ( as I forgot to bring mine ). Will definitely book again will be looking to book in a couple of weeks this place is also quite central to lots of lovely places to visit.

Disliked: Only thing I would suggest is in the toilets to put signs up for EVERYONE to make sure they clean the toilet properly after usage. And maybe various cleaning products available. Sometimes I found I had to give it a good clean. It’s a shame that some people don’t think of others.

Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite

Liked: What a fabulous campsite. It was so well organised with clean bathrooms, a kitchen area with air hockey table, good showers and easy payment and finding of pitch on arrival. It's really near Falmouth and many other great Cornish holiday spots. It was ideal for us despite the mixed weather just before Easter. The bluebell woods were enchanting and the atmosphere low key and relaxed.

Disliked: The toilets needed a bit more of a frequent clean.

Powered grass travel trailer campsite

Liked: The peace and quiet was fantastic. The facilities were clean and tidy. Electric and water on our pitch. Great views and an all round lovely location. The owner was a great guy and full of local knowledge. Pitches and central grass area very clean and tidy and loads of picnic benches available which we thought was a great touch. We will be going back there soon.

Disliked: Signage at main gate had faded writing which made locating the waste water dump a challange. Ots a tiny thing but would have been helpful.

Liked: The site was really peaceful and picturesque. Great views.
Showers/wc also excellent with hot showers. Being log cabins they were very warm (nice in April!) and they were very clean.

Sharon was incredibly welcoming. Very nice indeed.
Our own campervan had an issue - she was super helpful fetching tools so that we could fix it. 10/10
