Great campsite, highly recommended
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Hot and powerful showers (tap operated, no need to hold down a button), clean toilets (no need to wait), great views, plenty of space, peaceful, friendly staff. An amazing farm shop is a 5 min drive away.
Disliked Nothing really to dislike. As a suggestion. Paper towels instead of hand dryers would be preferable

Powered grass campsite
Liked Nice and quiet, clean and tidy facilities, friendly owners, no entertainment or bar which meant it was nice and peaceful.
Disliked Despite having very few rules, some visitors decided to have their dogs off lead which meant they pooped anywhere without it being picked up, this was grossly annoying.
We cut our holiday by 2 days because our camping kit let us down so we only had 2 nights out of 4.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked We stayed in the non electric field which was really spacious, you could set up anywhere you liked. It was relatively quiet when we were there, our closest neighbour was 50m away. The electric fields looked busier and they were much closer to each other.
Beautiful views. There’s a big farm shop not far down the lane - beware if you walk it as it busy being one of the roads down into Boscastle.
Facilities were spotless and probably some of the best we’ve experienced. There were 4 showers, 5 toilets, 3 washing up areas and we never queued.
Fire pits off the ground are welcome, you could hire them but we had our own. Logs were only £6 a bag.
One reason we chose here was for its access to the coastal path and it didnt disappoint, challenging walks with stunning scenery right on your doorstep.
Friendly and helpful owners.
We will definitely be coming back!
Disliked Nothing, perfect!

Great location, lovely views, friendly owner. We’d come again!
Powered grass campsite
Liked There were nice clean facilities with a shelter outside so that you were covered. This seemed to form a good communal area where everyone stopped to chat to each other.
Outside the facilities were mops dustpans and brushes along with other useful bits to borrow.
There was plenty of room on the good sized pitches.
Dog friendly was a bonus.
The owner was really welcoming and friendly. He was around and about without being intrusive.
The place was peaceful with amazing views. The location was ideal for Boscastle Harbour and lots of other places of interest.
Disliked The fact that we forgot our chocks. There was a slight slope but even with our the ramps it wasn’t too bad.
