Bell tent

Liked It was a great place, so quiet and peaceful, felt very remote, the tents were spacious, toilets and facilities worked well. The fire pit was great, and with fire wood provided. Views over the reservoir, and a short walk to the reservoir. We really enjoyed our stay and would go again.

Bell tent

Liked Lovely little campsite with amazing views of Ardingly resevoir. Very peaceful and quiet.
Big tents with some additions inside to make our stay more homely.
Toilets and showers are great! Very hand made, but better and cleaner than i experienced in other campsites.Water pressure and temperature are perfect in the showers.
Only 15 min drive to a massive Sainsbury's if in need for any supplies. Plenty to see and do in about 30 min drive radius.
Jasmine was pretty responsive to ours msgs and answered all the questions we had.

Disliked A few signs directing to the camp would be great.
We staides in the very bottom pitch, which was closest to the toilets but on a pretty noticeable slope.

Liked What a great venue! Jasmine was a great host allowing us to park up a bit early to go for a walk around Ardingly Reservoir while the area was mown and sorted for the Friday night guests. Great to get back to nature with added bonus of fully operational/ quirky / great toilet and shower cubicles 👏👏
Nice added touches of outside solar lights, inside torch, rug, couple of small tables and provided fire pit and some wood for us as well which was much appreciated.
View down onto Ardingly Reservoir was just lovely and plenty of action nature and people to be entertained.
Had a storm on the first night but the Bell Tent was great and kept us safe and dry. Thank you

Liked Such a gorgeous, clean and quiet site next to the water. We felt so at peace and easy to relax, lots of lovely walks nearby and paddle boarding on the reservoir, and even saw baby deer!

Local attractions

Themed areas at Wakehurst botanical gardens (10 minutes’ drive) include a swathe of American prairie-style grasslands and a grove of Australasian and South American trees. Green-fingered folk might also want to check out High Beeches Gardens (10 minutes), with seasonal highlights like springtime daffodils and vibrant red maples in the autumn. Among the World War II aircraft on display at Wings Aviation Museum (10 minutes) are RAF fighters and bombers, plus relics of a Doodlebug used by the German Luftwaffe. Period music accompanies you as you move through the exhibits, which also include a shelter from the London Blitz. If the kids are clamouring for a bouncing extravaganza, you can take them to Jumpin Fun Inflatable Park (20 minutes), where they can let rip in a vast arena with obstacle courses, giant slides and a huge bouncy airbag. Younger children, meanwhile, can explore the ball pit in the soft play area.
