Liked: Easy check in.
Good location.
Plenty of space.
Plenty of flat spots.
Drinking water available.
Friendly people who run the place.
Looks like there’s lots of activities for groups. Nice walking places and close to the reservoir.
Toilets close by.
Disliked: Although I don’t expect showers for this sort of price, I don’t think I would have liked to shower in them.
I was concerned if it rained too much my van would get stuck in the mud so I stayed quite close to the path.

Liked: Hot shower, clean toilets. Adequate for what I needed for a night's stay. Is meant for people who are also using the activity centre I suppose, which would make it a more interesting stay!
Disliked: No shops or pubs in walking distance.

Liked: Had a phone call from Rachael Fisher @ Blackland Farm to check we were still going and to let us know to go to reception on arrival, if know one was there to ring the number on the door and someone would come. We arrived just before 6pm, the gentleman in the reception was extremely helpful, gave me the information sheet with the code to the gate of the field we were staying in. As it was dark and I wasn’t really sure where it was, he got a vehicle and got us to follow him a couple minutes up the road to where the entrance of the field was, unlocked the gate and showed us where we could pitch safely as the field was a bit muddy. Showed us to a hard area and ensured the toilets and showers were all ok. We were the only people camping from the Friday night through to Sunday, each day he came round to check the site. A lovely stay with a lovely view of the vineyard. It was also lovely to hear the steam train passing by.
It’s also just 15 minutes away from Tulley’s Farm where we had fantastic evening for the Halloween festival. Definitely visit again.
Stayed in Kingfisher field.

Liked: Lovely wide open space for our first tentbox experience. Love that there’s toilets and showers. Beautiful scenery and lots to do around (although wasn’t our purpose this time). Love that it’s a locked gate entrance, so you feel safe from any ransoms just entering the venue.

Liked: Beautiful view across fields to a vineyard
Disliked: Noisy. Busy road and Gatwick flight path overhead.
No hard standing. The field was boggy and several vans got stuck in the mud.
Elson point was blocked.
