Southwood Park

Liked: The setting was lovely, yurt was so nice with log burner and the staff were very accommodating for our group, food was great and the bar had a good selection.
Access to electric in the reception to use for us to do our hair (goodwood revival) and allowing us to park our vintage cars securely

Disliked: We didn’t have enough wood for the 2nd night or enough milk for our morning tea, minor details and we were made aware more available to purchase (no one around before we left for the day or when we returned). Only one shower was working
Suggestion - daily boxes delivered to yurt which includes battery pack, water, tea coffee sugar and logs

Liked: Love the tents and the beds.
They have thought of everything.
The log burners in the tents and breakfast are a wonderful addition to glamming for us.

The tent with all the games equipment in is also really good.

Liked: Fantastic site for the children, safe & secure. Food was a reasonable price, well cooked. Everywhere nice & clean. Tents are a nice size & very comfy. If you want a Halloween break this is the place to go & you would not be disappointed as so much effect has been put into the decorations around the site. All had a lovely weekend.

Disliked: Showers were a bit cold for me.

Liked: We liked everything about Southwood, from the personal welcome and being able to text the owner about a last minute change of bringing our dog, nothing was a problem or too much trouble. Rachel is so helpful.

Facilities - everything was clean, the water pressure for outdoor showers is great. Toilets with mirrors in a clean toilet block, freezer space of which anyone could use was brilliant.
There isn’t any power in the bell tent however everything has been meticulously thought through, from a light in the middle of the room, a touch-lamp by the side of the bed, tea and coffee was provided with a kettle and gas stove, a mirror, and a wardrobe/clothes rail.
The log burner made the tent very cosy in the evenings.
A charging pack was provided and padlock for the tent.

The park and games room were perfect for my children, there were lots of board games, giant outdoor games, badminton, football goals with a light-up football for dusk, and a bar area that provided breakfast and dinner (the full English looked amazing, we didn’t have any during our stay as we brought lots of things with us).
I can’t fault the service and the beautiful grounds of this glamping site. We shall definitely be returning! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Liked: Everything! A really lovely site, nice & peaceful, mainly families. The lady that runs it was so nice & let the kids feed the animals, they were so happy. Good clean facilities.

Liked: This is a perfect place for a breakaway.
The bell tents are clean with ample space with all the extras included.
The owners Rachel and Adam are pleasant, friendly and very helpful.
Any services requested is dealt with promptly and with a smile.
Had a great evening sitting round the main firepit on site and having a great evening chatting with them and other people staying there.
All the facilities, shower are great and clean, bath rooms are clean and fresh with a twist of humour, there is a separate dishes washing up area which is great.
This is a kids friendly place with lots for the kidos to do to keep them entertained.
All the tents are spaced very well so you can enjoy your own area in peace n quiet.
The breakfast and dinner and drinks options are very good with plenty of options and they taste great too and is exceptionally well prices.
This is a definite recommendation to friends and family(already boasted about it) and will go back again.

Liked: Rachel and family were so incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed - site was exactly what we wanted and our little one loved exploring and the playground. Lots we didn’t make the most of like the bar, games and books but so much to do!
