What customers say
Spacious pitches & clean facilities are a hit, with friendly staff. Great for local walks. Major downside: constant low-flying aircraft noise under Gatwick flight path. Some noted paid showers & no central shop.

Higgledy Piggledy camping pod
Liked Everything! We usually camp in our tent but the pitches were all booked so we tried out a hut and were not disappointed. Lovely little space.
The site itself is great, lovely toilet and shower block all close by, great play area, bar and food vans, lovely walks, loved the planes coming over and took a trip to Gatwick aviation museum with kids and dog which was a great day out.
Disliked Nothing!

Liked Very beautiful and spacious pitches. Toilettes were clean. Allows self-check in in case you arrive late.
Disliked It's near the airport, so expect lots of plane takeoff noise. The opening hours of the reception differ each day: very confusing. Showers require coins to operate. No way to pay by card. With no reception open and no cash you can't shower. Come on, it's 2025 guys, that's ridiculous.

Powered grass campsite
Liked The openness of the pitch, friendly staff. Clean showers, didn't mind paying 50p as they were hot and 12 minutes is plenty of time. We didn't read the map well so for the first 2 nights we walked all the way down to near reception for the toilets until we found the middle block! 😂. Really close to Hever Castle well worth a visit .
Disliked Nothing really would visit again if we were coming up that area again.
