Liked: Wonderful location and very peaceful. The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful with anything needed. The pub down the road served a lovely dinner and I would certainly recommend it. My partner and I chose to stay here as it had a fishing lake, which did not disappoint. If you are looking for peace and tranquility this is the perfect place to stay.

Liked: The site is really lovely, clean and well maintained. The owners are super friendly and helped with anything we needed. Felt like family. Easy to find and very quiet.
Disliked: I guess the only thing was no shower however I did know that before I booked it but I believe they’re building on for the future which is great.

Liked: Our second visit to The Firs and again it did not disappoint. Margaret and Stuart are so welcoming and it's a great back to nature site which is exactly what we wanted to stargaze at night.
Local pub is 20 minutes away (or 30 minutes if you have three dogs like us!) through a lovely woodland and country lane walk. Great food and drink selections with a warm welcome.
We will return for our annual Perseids trip in 2025 :)
Disliked: Nothing to dislike!

Liked: Couldn't fault it. Would be even better with a shower but actually couldn't fault it. Beautiful surroundings and welcoming hosts
Disliked: Would have liked a shower as the weather was hot, but it didn't stop me booking, knowing there wasn't one.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Thanks for the kind review, we understand the shower concern, we are un able to install as no room, and we don't have enough water or electric capacity with out having major works, this would them of course increase the pitch charges.
