What customers say
Spacious grounds perfect for groups/families, with a lovely riverside spot for water activities. Friendly staff, generally clean facilities (though some note they're basic/could use upgrades & get messy when busy). Some road/camper noise reported.

Nice clean toilets, field was flat and quiet , very relaxing
Primitive grass campsite
Liked We stayed for 1 night in a non electric field as we wanted space for our nervous dog and didn’t want to be too near other people and we wasn’t disappointed. Lots of room to ourselves and lots of privacy
Disliked Far away from the toilets

From the manager: Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for taking the time to leave a review.
Many guests bring a toilet tent so they can be in the fields far away from the facilities.
We look forward to your next visit but definitely avoid Bank Holidays.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Huge site with plenty of pitches to choose from. Not at all crowded. Toilet block very clean.
Access to the river for dinghies, paddle boards etc
Loads of space for kids to play.
Friendly site.
Disliked The access road to the field near the river was full of pot holes. Not a massive problem but something to be aware of

Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked We had a very warm welcome at the camp reception when we booked in.
Digital barriers for vehicles and speed bumps make it a safe site.
Lots of room to walk around the site with a dog.
A good location for visits to T.Wells and Tonbridge.
Good facilities, plenty of toilets and showers, plenty of hot water.
We were lucky that the boot fair was onsite on our weekend, not to be missed.
Disliked Not a fault of the owners at all but we normally book adults only sites.
It was a late booking for the area we wanted to visit family, no issues at all no complaints.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Site and amenities such as seafood stall etc and peaceful and left alone further afield on site. Thankyou
Disliked Showers and toilets clean. But I don’t know what your policy is but every time I used washrooms you would have 3/4 dogs moving about off lead inside premises while drying and sniffing all around your legs nothing against dogs but find this wrong as a few other campers remarked so it’s noticed and gets about !!

Disliked Nothing

nice spacious site with nice staff
Powered grass campsite
Liked Very spacious, and clearly flexible with regards pitching. Friendly/chatty/helpful staff. Nice to walk beside the river/lock
Disliked cars driving too fast within grounds. Thousands of people attending bootfairs Saturday & Sunday within campsite; potential security risk...? Not really much to do for miles around. Zero signal/data with Vodafone
