Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of space for our group and the ground was kept in a good condition.
The toilets & showers were basic, but clean.
Easy access road to the site and signposted well.
Disliked: The awful weather, but the site had no say on that!

Liked: Really friendly warden, the team couldn't do enough for us. Even went to great lengths to lend me a firepit when I had forgotten ours. Clean facilities, were ready to assist us to leave grassed area as ground was wet and there was a fear of becoming stuck. Nothing was too much trouble.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Have been on this site before was a bit apprehensive about returning but the (I think new) young couple looking after it are lovely. Very understanding when we arrived two hours past the time I said we'd arrive. Due to road closures, arriving at 11pm. Weather has been horrendous and they let us park on the side road rather then the field (this time off year not busy so not a problem for them or us). Offer a doggy day care service (didn't use it but thought this is a great idea!)
Site is open all year. Because we arrived so late they offered us a free night next time we book. Fantastic, and a very nice gesture.
Disliked: The toilets, shower rooms and kitchen area are very old and tired. No hot water in the kitchen area. Quite pricy for out of season (£25 with electric per night)
Would really benefit from some hard standing pitches if opening all year round.
