What customers say
Spacious, friendly farm campsite loved by families & dog owners. Welcoming staff, ample pitches, good bar/food (great pizzas!). Kids love farm animals & tractor rides. Some found showers/washing-up water cold at peak times. Relaxed, good value.

Lovely weekend on a great site!
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked This is such a friendly site with a positive vibe where everyone is welcome.
The staff were working really hard on a busy weekend, to ensure everyone had a good time. Always with a smile.
We loved the bar, outdoor cinema, early morning bacon rolls & fire-pit hire.
The pitch was really generous and the site never felt overcrowded even at capacity.
The showers were warm and worked well.
Disliked The toilets doors/walls had a few gaps in that put our teenage daughter off a bit. But they were always clean, working and well stocked with soap & toilet rolls.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked This was a very last minute booking for us so we were sceptical on what to expect but it was great site that we've already recommended to friends.
We loved that there were three separate field areas to pitch up in so space was not an issue, we opted for the top field and it was super quite whilst the lower two fields seemed to be a lot fuller. the site was great, lovely friendly owners who were always to hand and happy to help. The option of on site catering was a great addition (we normally pack a lot of food and do it all ourselves but wanted to travel light and have an easy weekend away withe kids) - We believe this is only offered in school holiday times not year round. There was also a free outdoor cinema screening on the Saturday night and they had the farms own produce (hot dogs) on the BBQ for film screening time.
Great site for kids too, animals on site they can feed and stroke, tractor rides around the site in a wagon trailer, and a few bikes and scooters for free use.
We took a day trip to Dorset Heavy Farm Park which is a great day with the kids (that needs its own separate review though)
Good facilities, toilets were always clean and well stocked with loo roll and handwash etc.
Will be back again next summer for sure.

Really friendly staff, nice facilities, beautiful scenery.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Beautiful campsite with a wholesome feel, well run by the owners who put a huge amount of effort into making sure everyone felt welcome and enjoyed their stay. Facilities are well maintained, always had toilet roll and were clean. There were opportunities to be social or as private as you liked. We stayed over a weekend so catering, bar and a film were all on offer. Our kids loved feeding the animals and the tractor ride. We will come back and stay again.

Liked Great family friendly campsite. It was our children's first time camping (aged 1 and 3) and they loved it. So many extras for children - tractor rides, seeing the animals and outdoor toys. We also hired and fire pit which made the evening so lovely.
Thank you for a lovely stay and the perfect first camping experience for our children
Disliked Our only complaint is that the showers were very cold!!

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked We were greeted on arrival by farmer Dave who we found very helpful and polite, as were the rest of the family and all the staff at the campsite. Good food, lovely bar, amenities were basic but very clean. Kids loved all the animals and the tractor rides, loads to do in the local area. Loads of space. A fantastic week topped off by the colour run on the last day!! Can’t wait to return next year. Authentic, basic camping at its very best!! Thanks Dave and Alison
Disliked Only booked one week instead of two!!!!
