There’s a lot in the way of the countryside, cows and nearby seaside towns at Grazing Cow Stays. Here, you’ll be able to turn on your relaxation mode on a working dairy farm seven miles from Garstang and a few kilometres from an M6 junction, where the pitches are beside a milking parlour and calve shed (you’ll be able to watch them pottering about or see the milking unfold from the gallery).
While it's a rural stay, you certainly won’t be far away from the life in the towns, whether that’s the seaside-style buzz in Morecambe 20 minutes’ drive away or Garstang, the world’s first fairtrade town, 15 minutes’ drive away. The Lake District in only half an hour’s drive away from here too for those of you with hikes and outdoor activities on your mind.
On site, there are toilets and showers free of charge, hot and cold running water and dishwashing facilities for pots. All the grassy pitches have countryside views and if you’d like to switch things up with some waterside scenery, the river Lune is half an hour’s walk away or the canals are just 10 minutes’ walk away.
There are shops, pubs and eateries in the local village a short walk away, but Garstang has a real foodie or shopping dive 15 minutes' drive away, including the market on Thursdays, supermarkets, restaurants, high street shops, pubs and a little further out, a garden centre.

- Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
- At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.
- Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
- No electric barbecues allowed.
- There is no reception building on-site: on arrival please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
